WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY! Two couples- two rooms. We departed from the Rome train station and the management of La Lira had sent us directions to their recommended shuttle service. As the directions noted, we met our shuttle service (35 Euros) and took a short ride to our B&B. We were met by Alex who helped check us in and gave each couple three keys. Each key had a purpose and like the fortunes in Fort Knox, we felt completely safe and secure. The rooms were clean and neat and the beds were extremely comfortable. What we first noticed about the rooms were how quiet they were, it was like being in a silent sound chamber. The location is amazing! Walk a block away and you are greeted with large boats, a canal and a bridge leading to a line of restaurants. In the morning, you are greeted by a small continental breakfast of yogurt, croissants, coffee and juice. The owner(s) are there to greet you and answer any questions you may have. Of note, our rooms were on the second floor and the building has a small elevator installed to transport people and luggage up to the second floor. The owners took care of arranging our transportation needs to Rome. We paid 85 Euros for a taxi to Rome and if you want the train, it’s 35 Euros to the train station and then the train tickets, 13 Euros each. We elected to hire a shuttle to Rome for 85 Euros which was equal to or less than the shuttle and train ride. We were very lucky to have found Luigi De Cristofaro

If you’re looking for a convenient hotel near the airport, this is the perfect place. The location is excellent, with a free shuttle service and easy access to the water and beach. The staff were extremely helpful and detail-oriented he even showed me the best nearby restaurants and attractions on Google Maps. Thanks to their recommendations, I enjoyed amazing seafood and incredible ice cream! It was the ideal spot to relax for a night before my international flight the next day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great service.

La Lira is a wonderful place close to the beach and dining. Clean and simple. Staff is outstanding. The shuttle to the airport works well (it runs at certain hours and booking happens through La Lira) and the staff is very helpful with directions and recommendations. We would stay there again.

The property is 5 min walk from the Venezia station and lots of small restaurants within in 2 min walk. It is close to Florence’s main cathedral ( about 5 min walking). Uffizi gallery and Academia are each about 20 min walking. So it is very convenient to walk an y attraction site by walking. It is very safe in the night. Although, from outside the building does not look nice, inside is clean and nice. Front desk staffs are very helpful and whenever something needed to be fixed, they stay on top of it. Each room has its own safety vault. The free breakfast is also good.

We were happy to see that the hotel was very updated and very clean... and not too far away from the airport as we were quite tired when we arrived. I did ask the manager if they had some cereal as two of our party needed to take medicine and I thought they both needed something on their stomach; however, the manager said he didn't have any cereal. He didn't offer any thing else even though a kitchen with tables was set up just outside our room. I did walk around that area thinking perhaps I might find at least some bread to offer my family before they took their pills. The manager appeared immediately and asked me if he could help. I asked if he might have some toast and he smiled and said he didn't. So I guess this hotel doesn't offer a breakfast or even a slice of toast for travelers that arrive after 8 at night and leave before 4 in the morning!

Very nice and clean room. The reception staff was great (I don't remember his name). Explained in detail the area restaurants and provided recommendations. This was a quick one night stay before a flight out of fco. I was happy with the room and shuttle service to the airport.

Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay here. Room and lobby area was very clean. There was an elevator to hotel entrance. Twin beds were comfortable and little larger than twin size. Hotel was close to everything. It’s a very busy area. Balcony doors were good at shutting out the street noise. Lots of great restaurants nearby.
