Great location close to where we were enjoying some outdoor recreation. Place was fine and we did stay on one of the coldest weekends which made for some chilly nights. The house could not get warmer than 52 degrees on both nights with subzero temperatures. One was -22 air temp so we get it. A few better seals around the front door and some better windows would go along way in keeping down the heating costs.

Our stay at this lake house was absolutely perfect ans exceeded our expectations. The location was magnificent, offering beautiful views. The house itself was sparkling clean and decorated for a lake side home. The kitchen was an eye catcher. We loved spending our days relaxing by the fire pit. There were some wondeful nearby restaurants to try out and we enjoyed a short drive to Nibbles the ice cream shop. The bed was incredibly soft and offered tons of blankets. We can't wait to come back again. You're so generous sharing your home. Again thank you for a wonderful stay

Cozy Dream House

This cozy 3 bedroom is perfect! It appears to be recently renovated as everything is sparkling clean - even the appliances. It's thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything you could want. Even the lighting is perfect. The brightly lit hallway features a long shelf and mirror - perfect for doing your hair and makeup while someone else is in the shower. Each room has Roku TV, there are rugs exactly where you'd want them, plenty of mirrors to check your look before you step out, and welcoming decor. Kids will love the bunk bed room with its own sitting area. The house is about 5 houses/5 minute walk to Higgins Lake. This is an asset as this house is shielded from strong lake winds. The hosts respond quickly to any questions you may have. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. If we were looking to buy, this would be the perfect home! The only negative part of a Higgins Lake getaway is when it ends!

1st Higgins Lake Experience

We loved our stay and we hope to make this an annual trip. My partner has been telling me for years that Higgins lake is the best lake and I can say she wasn’t wrong. The proximity to the North Park is great and makes up for the lack of lake access from the property. The property owner was great to communicate with and was understanding when I had to message him we set the smoke alarm off making dinner. Overall a really great experience.
