Building claimed non smoking but smelled like cigarettes, looked like people lived long term. 3rd floor looks like a ghetto apartment complex. Requested rooms connected, and they put us on different floors

Nice for a Motel 6. Basic amenities and no breakfast, of course. The problem we had was that our room TV stopped working after about an hour or two both in the evening and then again in the morning. It would just shut itself off then refuse to turn back on. We had a major wind/dust storm that night and the window seals were not great as there were thin layers of dust everywhere.

The room itself was fine. Nice surprise that there were 3 beds. Property has smoking rooms, so elevator and hallways smell a bit gross. Staff was ok, not overly friendly. Wasnt expecting much for a motel 6. Problem was the thiness of the walls. We were in a room with a connecting door and we could hear the people in the adjoinging room like they were right there with us. Sounded like a few young guys; just a nonstop flow of obscenities and f bombs. We're all adults, so whatever, but a family with kids would've wanted to leave. Dogs in the neighbor behind us barked all night. We slept with ear plugs.
