With plenty of parking for both cars and boats, and a secure garden shed to store equipment, The Red Barn is an ideal facility for holiday makers who want a quiet and peaceful place to return to at the end of the day's adventures.

Whether you’re here to enjoy the excellent hiking, biking, fishing and boating, or you’re supporting or participating in a local sporting event, The Red Barn has everything you need. There are even two kayaks and three mountain bikes available for you to use at your leisure!

When it’s time to retreat indoors, a huge open-plan living-dining space invites you to sit back and relax. There’s more than enough seating for everyone to be part of the conversation, or gather round the Smart TV for a quiet movie night. Pour yourself your favourite holiday drink, and take advantage of the complimentary WIFI to post your latest holiday snaps!

A well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to self-cater your holiday, and with two fridge-freezers there is plenty of space to store all the favourites you’ve brought from home. Dine at the table big enough for everyone to share a meal together, or fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco on the shaded deck.

The young, and young at heart, in your group will enjoy sunny days on the large grassy section. Stage a backyard footy or cricket match, or simply enjoy the tranquility of having this beautifully kept expanse of land all to yourself.

At the end of the day’s adventures, three bedrooms plus mezzanine bedroom offer everyone a place to lay their head. The rooms feature a combination of queen and bunk beds, and there is even a port-a-cot available for use. There are also two sofa beds in the living area, should you be looking for a little extra space or privacy in the bedrooms.

Two full bathrooms, and two additional toilets provide ample conveniences for everyone. The wet floor shower in one of the bathrooms provides disability access if required.

The Red Barn is situated just 400m from the beach and 3km from the boat ramp, making it an ideal spot to enjoy fishing and swimming on your holiday. The forest for hiking and biking is just 4km from your home away from home, and if you’d like to check out the multitude of activities in Rotorua, it’s just a 12km drive into town.

As this property is set on working farmland, access to the surrounding paddocks is unavailable.

Bedroom 4 is located on the mezzanine floor, overlooking the living area.

Please note, there is a single security camera located above the verandah at the front door, overlooking the driveway and parking area. The camera will be operating at all times, serving as a security measure to protect both the property and our guests and their belongings.
