Farm Safety and Courtesy Guidelines ---

Front Yard: Guests and leashed pets are welcome to use the front yard spaces.

Pasture Access: Guests are not allowed in the pastures. This is for your safety and the well-being of the animals.

Barn Area: Guests are not allowed in the Barn or the Barn area. For the safety of our guests and animals, this area is prohibited.

Fences: Do not climb or touch the fences, especially electric ones, to avoid injuries.

Interaction with Animals: Please do not feed, pet, or approach farm animals. They are in their natural habitat and can be unpredictable.

Restricted Areas: The barn area and garden and raised bed areas are off-limits to all guests unless accompanied by farm staff.

Vehicle Parking: Please park all vehicles in designated areas in front of the rocks to avoid obstructing the driveway. Two vehicle limit.

Pets: All pets are to be on a leash at all times when not inside the Farm House. Pets are restricted to the front area of the home. Pet waste must be collected and properly disposed of. This is an active farm, and is for the protection of the livestock that resides at Cattle Run Farm.

General Farm Safety: Please respect all signage and barriers, and do not enter restricted areas such as the pastures, barn areas, and private residences. All fencing, including electric fences, are for your safety and the well-being of our animals.

Smoke Free Property: Smoking and vaping is prohibited across the entire property. We maintain a tobacco-free environment to ensure the health of our guests and the cleanliness of our farm, and for fire & safety prevention.

Entrances and Exits: Please use the designated main entrance for entering and exiting the inn. The back entrance is reserved for staff use only.

Staff Area: Office sits below the kitchen and is locked off from the house. Minimal time spent in this area. Expect about 1 hour in the morning, and likely for a short close out period in the evening concluding the work day. Nearly the entire work day on this farm is spent on the farm, not in the office.
