I booked the Hope Anchor but the owners messaged that work was being done and moved me to The Lookout Rye. It was really nice but you could hear everything going on with your next door neighbour. Every cough, every step, every time they opened their curtains. My bed literally would shake when they walked around. Breakfast came with the booking and it was great. Small buffet with fruit, cereal, yogurt etc and then a cooked option of avocado toast, kippers both with eggs or you could get full English.

Had a really nice stay, the rooms were clean & the breakfast really good. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open in the evening so it needed a short walk into the main street to find a restaurant or pub. However, the flip side is that it’s very quiet there and it’s a lovely walk down sone beautiful old cobbled streets.

A lovely welcome on arrival, comfortable room with a wonderful view. Great shower, good size of room. Just TV, No netflix or other streaming service. Great service, easy to top up tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. No car park but easy walking distance to other car parks. Near plenty of places to eat. In a lovely, historic part of Rye with lots to see.

Nice and quiet in the evenings. Lovely views. Bit of a pain with the parking and having to walk up steps with my luggage from the car park in town, but the stay and view was worth it.

Hotel was clear and bed was comfortable. Parking was not convenient as we had to park down the hill at a car lot and then walk a long flight of stone stairs up the hill with are luggage. We were giving the 2nd floor.....2 more flights of stairs and no water pressure in the shower as we were so high upstairs. Breakfast was nice but parking too much of an issue.

Very lovely staff. Great brekafast with lots of options. Delicious pastries! The location is perfect in Rye. Nice view,located on oke of the old cobble stone roads. I would definitely stay here again

Excellent breakfast. Don’t like sage in my sausage but was admonished by my family for grumbling about it. Apparently sage goes with pork. Fabulous friendly staff, lovely central hotel, clean comfortable rooms. Will return.
