The room was ok but we had a joining door between us and the room next door and there is a large gap under that door so we could hear everything going on in that room. The walls were paper thin to. People showed up after 11pm and very so loud and started playing music! The next night they did the same thing so I had to go ask to move rooms, which thankfully the front desk did right away. So I guess my review is that the property is not that great but staff was understanding and accommodating.

Waited in line for two hours to check in. There was a rush of customers when the freeway closed, and the location accepted bookings but did nothing to accommodate the rush of people coming in. Truly miserable experience.

Check-in was the slowest I've ever experienced. There was road closures, so it's understandable that a bunch of individuals were booking up the hotel, but for some reason it took individuals over an hour to get to their rooms. However, the room was comfortable and they stay wasn't bad, just the check-in; enough to make give a lower overall score.

When we arrived, homeless people were walking around outside, then went into the lobby and got cookies. The lady took the cookies outside and laid them on the curb and said I hope you like these but no one was around, not sure who she was talking to. Next to the cookies was small pile of what appeared to be human feces. The room smelled musty and moldy. We then found mold in the corners of the bathroom area and on the shower/ bath tub, walls. There was a spider in the bath tub as well. The beds had a top sheet over the fitted sheet, a thin blanket and another sheet over the top. It didn’t have any kind of bed spread or comforter. The mattress corners had dust and small little black things in the seam. I don’t know what bed bugs look like. I went to the front desk and shared my experience with the receptionist. I asked if there was another room that we could stay in and he said they are all the same rooms. I booked through Expedia so I called them to request a refund. I also took pictures. The agent said it was not necessary for me to send them. She put me on hold to call Best Wester. Then the agent told me that Best Western declined the request for a refund to them therefore they could not give me one either. I was disappointed with Expedia as well.
