Set in a peaceful countryside location, this modern and well-equipped holiday home offers bright, beautifully furnished interiors and a spacious garden, perfect for families or groups. Children will love the play modules, boules pitch, and table tennis table, while adults can relax in the serene surroundings.

Located just 2 km from Villedieu-les-Poêles, known for its historic bell foundry, the home is ideally placed for day trips across Normandy. Visit Champrepus Zoo (10 km), spend a day at the beach (25 km), or explore Granville, the nearest seaside resort, just 20 minutes away. Caen and Mont-Saint-Michel are both reachable in 40 minutes, making this a perfect base for cultural and coastal adventures.

Guests are welcomed with a bottle of water and Norman cakes, and enjoy easy check-in with a code and keys. Parking is available, and guests may choose to clean the house before departure or opt for a €85 cleaning fee. Please remember to close the curtains upon checkout.

Unfortunately, the insulation on the first floor was inadequate, and we experienced a blocked drain that caused unpleasant odors. The host was difficult to deal with, constantly critical, and even sent photos after our stay pointing out a single hair under the bed and a small smudge on the mirror. Overall, not a pleasant experience. We would not stay here again.

Het vakantiehuis voldeed wat ons betreft aan de gewenste eisen. De inrichting van het huis was keurig en schoon. De eigenaar van het huis is vriendelijk, servicegericht en zeer behulpzaam. Tot zover onze complimenten. Echter om het huis te vinden moet je erg je best doen. Zelfs de plaatselijke bewoners weten niet waar het huis is gesitueerd. Na veel inspanningen hebben we het huis (deels per ongeluk) kunnen vinden, maar 'de zoektocht' heeft ons een kleine anderhalf uur gekost.

Gemütlich eingerichtetes Haus, ausgestattet mit allen üblichen Annehmlichkeiten und mit unbeschädigten Küchenutensilien. Angenehmer Empfang durch den Eigentümer. Die Bäckerei in Villedieu ist mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar, allerdings mit einem kleinen Anstieg. Supermärkte auch in Villedieu-les-Poêles. Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in einer geeigneten Lage für Besuche in Le Mont Saint Michel, Bayeux, Caen, den Landungsstränden, Granville usw. Für uns nicht so wichtig, aber für andere vielleicht schon: Die erste Etage ist aus Holz, weshalb es in den Schlafzimmern im Obergeschoss teilweise etwas laut ist.
