The Old Coach House Salcombe
The Old Coach House is a delightful cottage located just a stone's throw from the heart of Salcombe, on Knowle Road just opposite Allen Hayes Road. Just a couple of minutes' walk down onto either Island Street or Fore Street, the cottage is ideally located for exploring Salcombe and all it has to offer.
And when you are finished exploring the beaches and beautiful scenery, what better place to relax with friends and family but the beautiful garden with outdoor dining for 10 people and a BBQ. This quiet and peaceful spot is the ideal getaway, The Old Coach House has secure parking for 6 cars and once the gates are shut you have a lovely private setting to unwind.
Inside The Old Coach House you will find a well appointed kitchen, with a large range cooker and there is gas central heating throughout the house. Downstairs there is a large garden room with patio doors that allow the beauty of nature into the house, a comfy lounge to catch up with friends and a lovely dining room that seats 9. There is also a bunk bed room on the ground floor, which can sleep 3 and a separate WC.
Upstairs there are three en-suite rooms; the first bedroom includes a Juliet balcony and has an en-suite bathroom, the other two bedrooms both include en-suite shower rooms.
If you are looking for a home away from home in a great location, The Old Coach House has everything you need and more for a relaxing seaside break.
A really lovely property, beautifully presented in a great location. Worked so well for our family group ranging from 10-76 plus our dog! A bit of a climb back up from the centre but otherwise wonderful! Would definitely recommend.
The house is as described and is very comfortable and well equipped. The big bonus is parking for at least 4 cars, in the centre of Salcombe although thereâs a steep climb up and down between the car park and house - thankfully not too long!
Itâs ideal for 3 couples although there is a 4th bedroom on the ground floor with a double bunk which can use the downstairs cloakroom. However you then need to use an upstairs room for a shower.
There is plenty of space to sit out in the enclosed, dog friendly gardens/terraces and 2 massive drawing rooms.
The house is really close to the Coop and The High Street but anyone coming to Salcombe must be aware that itâs very hilly - so getting to the shoppers takes 5 mins, getting back takes 10 and could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.
That apart, this is a lovely, well maintained house with masses of space inside and out, ideally located. Highly recommended.
