Internet was good. Parking good. Nobody creeping around in this area. Felt very safe. It is on HWY 1. Lots of road noise. Quiet between 3-6AM.

Room was clean, bed comfortable and with bedroom being a separate room inside the suite toward the back, I did not notice traffic noise. Check in staff was pleasant, and recommended a restaurant for supper. I would stay here again when travelling through.

Shower diverter did not work as it sprayed medium from the shower head and still gushed from the tap. I was in room 101 which has two large bedrooms. One had an IKEA sling back chair which was only for a smaller person. The room with the tv had no chair at all. No place to really watch tv. Very convenient and a place I would strongly recommend with some minor tweaking.

Booked this room based on pictures and reviews. The room smelled musty and moldy. Opened the window to hopefully bring in fresh air. All you could hear was highway traffic. Closed the window and turned on the air conditioner only to find out it was worse than the highway noise. The bed was totally uncomfortable. And…. The door has a window where the light totally shines in. Ended up hanging the bathroom towels over the door to darken the room. Oh… did I forget to tell you we had no internet. Highly disappointing.

Happy Salmon was a great stopping point on our journey. It is very basic, but clean and well cared for. The host (who was very sweet) recommended Canoe beach which is within driving distance. What a beautiful beach! We will certainly return!
