We booked this property but the check I. information emailed to us was incorrect and there was no code to open the door. When we messaged the owner he said the property had plumbing issues that were not fixed and we were not able to stay in the advertised property. There was an upstairs unit that much was not booked and we could stay there. We found this out at check in time and we were fine to stay in the main floor apartment. The problem was this apartment was not really ready for guests! Our experience -Upon arrival- Bedding was not changed from previous occupant, there was clean linens and we made the bed; no hot water; had to message owner for a code to get in the building; battery for the door keypad was low. Owner said he would be by that night to change batteries and turn on hot water. He was a no show, but said he would be there by 9am the next morning!Next morning we went out and when we arrived back at 9 am we were locked out as the key pad batteries were now dead. Messaged the owner who was was going to be there by 9 am and let him know it was past 9am and we were locked out. He arrived around 11:30 am. AC stopped working that night. We shut the furnace off over night, changed the thermostat settings, and thankfully it was working the next morning.The next morning the water was shut off and it took all day to be reconnected. There was no railing on the front step with a steep drop to the lower level! Needs to do some work before renting again!
