I left after the first day. They did not change our linens, the carpet inside and outside the room was dirty.The bulbs needed changing . My wife and I checked out and found another hotel.i have using hotel .com for some years but this experience made me pause

Nice property, very convenient location, and nice staff. The extra amenities are OK but basic, and the breakfast is very very good. They are my default location when I have business visits at the area of Salvador Shopping.

Not worth the price

It was to expansive! I rented a room with a queen size bed and I got a room with to connected single beds! That doesn't makes a queen size bed in my opinion! The water pressure in the shower was pretty low! The beach next to the hotel is awful! There is a stinky river!

Great Hotel, awesome reception staff

We had a fantastic stay, and received fantastic service. Daniel was especially hospitable! I wanted to watch a movie in my room with my laptop, and forgot to bring an HDMI cable, and I called to reception on the slight off chance that they had one. They didn't have one lying around, but Daniel went to his car and retrieved his personal one just for us to use!! I was blown away by the gesture. I've been in the hospitality industry for 10 years, and it's gestures like that which create repeat business for me. Thanks again Daniel! You are the man!

Very decent hotel, somewhat inflexible service

This is a comfortable and straight forward hotel, suitable for business and shorter stays. It has 24/7 taxis on patrol in front of the door, and that is nice because the area doesn't offer much, so you need transport. The hotel service is up and down. Sometimes it's friendly and attentive, sometimes not so much. Messages don't seem to go through. If you call the reception and say you found opened bottles of water in your minibar with tap water in them, nothing will be done, no new water will arrive. If you ask for the restaurant to not fry your salmon to carbon, or to not use salt, you can be pretty sure it will be carbonized and salted just the same. When you have a special request it can't usually be accomodated. If they don't have pudding type A but do have pudding type B, they can't sell me pudding B because "it's not on the room service menu" (what kind of business idea is this?). Food is pricey and portions are too small for a grown man, you need two. As I stayed here for various weeks this was a rather annoying. The room has a good work chair and good bed. If there are people next door you can hear everything. The neighbor's aircon is sitting on your balcony that you pay a premium to get, together with your own. Noise is deafening 24/7 (I used a noise cancelling headset when working). The pool is good. The gym is a joke, try the gym Well nearby.
