The space
Newly renovated in 2021 with a touch of whimsey, this is a unique space for family and friends to reconnect!

The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom beach house is cozy, about 850 square feet, but very well laid out for maximum family fun and interaction. Limited to 6 people. We recommend either 4 adults and up to 2 children or a total of 5 adults. The Pirates NOOK is designed for 2 small folks or one adult. :)

While The Round House is a place to let the rest of the world fade away, if you do need to work, we have reliable/high speed WIFI for your use. Yes, you can get away from it all and stay connected at the same time.

Your stay includes use of 2 beach bikes, 2 kayaks, a surf board, 4 skim boards, a beach cart, cooler, and beach chairs. ($500 Value)

You will find the open floor plan fun, inviting and incredibly comfortable.

LINENS: We provide Duvets and Duvet covers for all our beds as well as pillows. Beds and pillows all have protectors. You have the option to bring your own sheets and towels or we can provide fresh, professionally cleaned linens, bath towels & beach towels through our local service. This service runs $150 and is included in your fee. If you opt to bring your own linens, we will refund this amount to you after your stay.

LOCATION

We are located in the town of Salvo, NC in the Outer Banks. This is a quiet beach community where you will find some of the most beautiful beaches and scenery in the world.

The Round House is located only 100 yards from the beach access path. A short easy walk.
Guest access
The Round House is located in an ideal neighborhood setting. Kids can safely ride their bikes, skateboards or scooters and you can take a nice jog around our sleepy two mile loop.

Also, Salvo has a wonderful walking/bike path so your can ride bikes to the day use area or to one of several wonderful local restaurants.

As for the BEACH....We are only 100 yards from the beach path on the ocean side of the street. No roads to cross. You can hear the waves from our deck!
Other things to note
1. Hurricanes are a possibility. Please understand this when you book your vacation rental. We highly recommend purchasing the travel insurance that is available.

2. We suggest paying for your reservation with an American Express Card. Several American Express Cards will cover the cost of your trip should a Hurricane evacuation become necessary.

3. The Round House does require climbing steps. As is true of most beach homes in the area, the house sits on pilings.

4. The Wifi in the Round House is suitable for remote work to include Zoom calls.

5. Stays longer than two weeks require additional cleanings during your stay at the posted cleaning rate.
