This spacious & unique home will send you away with memories for a lifetime and plans to come back again soon.
The house is in amazing shape for being built before the Civil War. Plenty of room for everyone, and the dining table seats 14!
We all enjoyed our stay very much, and the hosts were very attentive and friendly.
Hotel Tarde was a new experience for our friend group. We visit Castroville every year for the St Louis festival, which was within walking distance from hotel(1/4 mile). Everyone had their own room, but shared bathrooms, not problem if youâre close friends. There was plenty of room to gather and enjoy conversations. The kitchen was great for having our drinks, snacks and meals. All the bedrooms had comfortable beds. The owners are great and super friendly. They apologized about not turning the AC down earlier to start cooling this large place down. It stayed pretty warm and was the only real comment our group had about the hotel. We know that Pennie and Josh are so very conscientious about their place that they will have that figured out for the next stay. We would definitely do this again! Thanks for everything!
Pennie is so knowledgeable about the Hotel Tarde and itâs history. We loved running this property and will definitely be back learning the history of the hotel made it even more special.
