Perfect location! 5 mins from the Pearl, the Zoo, and The DoSeum. The home is in a historical part of San Antonio in a transitioning neighborhood. We really enjoyed the vibe of the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

It was a very comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood. The location was just amazing. I looked up historic homes in the neighborhood and walked to a few and drove to others. It was really enjoyable. We sat outside a few times. Some of the outdoor furniture had seen better days but nothing we couldn't handle. The house had a ton of puzzles to pick from and beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again when we come to town.

We had a lovely visit and felt comfortable. Our host Jamie was very responsive when I had questions prior to our arrival, and he checked in to see how our visit was going after a few days. We thank him for that. The house is beautiful inside just like the pictures. We loved the decor and it was very clean! Very nice kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. Only one TV, but it made us talk, interact and read!! Lot's of games were available to play. We felt safe in the neighborhood, ordered Ubers to go where we needed to go. We would definitely stay in this beautiful home when we visit San Antonio again.

We didn't do much cooking as we were within walking distance to fabulous restaurants (a real bonus of this property). Bedrooms were spacious with luxury bedding and towels. Host was great- communicated with us before, during, and after our stay, which we really appreciated as our flights were late. You cannot beat the location- so close to The Pearl - a wonderful area to explore with restaurants, bars, shops, and areas for children to play. Access to the property was easy. We loved exploring San Antonio and then coming back each evening to enjoy this beautiful home away from home.

Our stay at Urban Elegance Retreat was great! You can really tell the hosts spent time on the decor; the home is beautifully designed and feels so inviting. Beautifully remodeled home

This is a beautifully remodeled home in a quiet neighborhood. You will go WOW when you walk into the master bath! Located a few blocks from the Pearl and a block off St Mary’s street. Easily walkable to downtown also. Has everything you could need at the house and is extremely comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

Renovated craftsman charm

Beautifully renovated house in quiet historic neighborhood close to the Pearl. Everything was true to listing. About a half hour to the Riverwalk on foot. We rented bikes at Blue Star Bicycle Company on the Riverwalk, and rode to the five missions in the area on a perfectly maintained bike path, it was joyful! The cleaning crew missed the sheets in the master en suite, which is the only thing I can complain about, otherwise the cleanliness rating would have been excellent. All in all a great place to stay if you can’t afford a hotel on the Riverwalk itself, but the Pearl district has so much to offer too, and it’s really close.

What a gem!

This property was an absolutely amazing stay. The neighborhood was not only very safe and quiet, it was very close to all the places we were visiting including the creamery and pearl. Couldn’t get any better. The actual accommodations also surpassed my expectations. It extremely spacious. Plenty of rooms with curtains to keep the rooms dark and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the primary bath and towel warmer. What a nice treat! Would heavily recommend and if we return to San Antonio, this VRBO will be at the top of our list to stay.

BMT Graduation

The home was a great pick for son’s graduation ceremonies at Lackland base. Location worked very nice as home is close to the Pearl district along the river walk so left car behind and got in some steps. About 25 minute drive to the base, 15 minutes to downtown and short drive to airport. Owner has supplied clean and spacious home with everything we needed for our stay there for us including kitchen supplies, games, toiletries, clothes detergent. The master bath is gorgeous. Owner was very accommodating and easy to reach if desired. Wife was extremely happy with the home which enabled us all to comfortably celebrate our families special event.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Urban Elegance Retreat. It is located near the Pearl, which was very nice and also about 20 mins from the Lackland Air Force Base. Communication with Jason was wonderful! He responds immediately and was a great host. The property is renovated and the inside is very nice and updated. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were very spacious, as was the entire home. My only suggestions would be to replace the shower head in the master bath because the water pressure was very weak and add some hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels. Also, the hand soaps in the bathrooms were not refilled, they were mostly water. Overall, great experience and we definitely enjoyed our stay!

What a beautiful and well equipped house. The owners were very responsive and all of our questions were answered within minutes. Even the small maintenance issue we reported was fixed the same day. We will definitely look at this property again next time we are in San Antonio and will recommend to our friends.

The property is nice and pictures of the inside are accurate and looked as listed. The outside of the house pictures does not match the house. The pictures were old and the outside looked a little creepy. The house is very spacious. There are several doors that lead to the outside. Owner was very available and helped when called.

We booked Urban Elegance Retreat for our son’s AirForce Academy Graduation. The retreat was exactly as described. We wanted to stay together so my son didn’t have to choose who he visited with. 4 adults 3 teens. Very clean and extremely comfortable. We needed somewhere we could all be together but not on top of each other. It was a nice calm place to relax and visit. The separate living rooms were both outfitted with comfortable furniture and provided reasonable privacy and separation. We spent most of our time in doors as the weather was not our friend so it was imperative that it was comfortable and it did not disappoint. Thoughtful details throughout made it ascetic or comfortable. The owner was easy to reach for questions and was accommodating when he/she was able to be with requests. Most everything was addressed in a detailed welcome letter. Electronic access is the only way to go. Makes so all adults have access to come and go. That was great too.

Simple pleasures

Came to San Antonio for a simple pre-holiday family get together. The property looked amazing online and it was. 6 adults comfortably living within walking distance to everything. House was larger than I expected from the outside and beautifully appointed. Everything you need is provided and the magnifying makeup mirror alone had my wife sold on the place. Communication with the Hosts was fast and professional and what you want from a property rental. We cannot recommend the place more and plan on returning.
