Inside, you'll find a beautifully appointed bedroom with luxurious coastal décor and a plush queen bed. Pocket doors offer privacy from the fully equipped bathroom, which includes a soaking tub for post-beach relaxation.

The open-concept living space includes a fully stocked kitchen, dining nook, and a pull-out full-size sofa bed for extra guests. A washer/dryer is available for your convenience, making this home ideal for both weekend getaways and longer stays. With shops, dining, and the beach just around the corner, this intimate retreat offers comfort, convenience, and a truly local coastal experience.

The patio was great, really enjoyed sitting outside looking at the bay. Very quiet area and walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. Really easy walk to get to the beach.

Perfect location and cute house

This place is very inviting and cute and located in a perfect spot to visit San Diego. It is a pretty clean place except it wasn’t mopped, our 14 month olds feet and legs were dirty each time she crawled and the entrance to the front of the house is a little cramped with some rickety stairs but overall enjoyed our stay.

Great location, neighborhood is very quiet. Occasional street noise was not a problem. The cottage had everything we needed. Small for sure, perfect for 2 people. We were supposed to have 4, but were thankful they decided not to come, as it would have been tight!Reached out one day with a question and they responded immediately and got back to us with an answer very quickly.

We had a wonderful stay at Bay View Cottage. We frequently visit the area, but this location was absolutely perfect. The unit is one house away from the bay and tucked away from the street traffic/noise. There was plenty of parking, which is extremely hard to come by in Mission Beach. The house was stalked with everything we needed and was extremely clean. Will definitely be back on our next trip!

Weekend beach getaway

This cottage was perfect for my wife and I for our 5 day vacation. We did not rent a car but the parking here was so much better than other places in the area, my suburban would have fit no problem. Was nice to sit on the patio and see the bay and sunrise, along with the ocean just about 3 blocks away via a walkway. We used the bikes often (was a nice bonus) although their pretty old 2 of them were functionable. Was also nice that there was a washing machine. Place overall was great. Location was perfect for us, we didn't want all the noise from the ocean boardwalk at night. Thanks for a great stay!
