This place is very misleadingly advertised as a hotel, but in reality, itâs more like a hostelâand not a great one at that. Thereâs no parking, and the nearby options they recommend are ridiculously expensive. Upon arrival, we didnât get the entry codes and had to chase someone down just to access our room. When we finally got a response, the codes were wrong, and it took us about 45 minutes to even get inside.
The âvirtualâ front desk was unresponsive and extremely difficult to deal with. On top of that, they tacked on about $100 in hidden fees after we booked. Some rooms donât even have private bathroomsâyouâre expected to use a shared, communal one, which was never disclosed beforehand.
The shower had no door, the bathroom window had no curtain, and thereâs no elevatorâso prepare to haul your luggage up multiple sets of stairs. The âamenitiesâ they charge you for are basically useless. To make it worse, the fridge had employee meals in it with handwritten notes saying âDonât Touch.â Not exactly a welcoming touch.
The walls are paper thin, so youâll hear everything going on in the rooms around you. Between the lack of communication, surprise fees, misleading marketing, and uncomfortable setup, this was a really frustrating stay. I would not recommend it to anyone expecting an actual hotel experience.
