A great escape from downtown. A beautiful tropical oasis! Clean room, friendly staff, and a wonderful spot for this hotel. We have stayed downtown several times but this is now our go to for San Diego!

What a wonderful experience. We were a family of 7- Mom, Dad, 3 boys (11/6/2yrs) and a grandma and great grandma. We had two rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, kind and accommodating. The property itself was beautiful. Transported you to a tropical island. The kids had a great time at the pool. We all said we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had one all time favorite hotel from our many trips, and Humphrey’s Half Moon is now an equal all time favorite hotel!! We loved everything! The Shelter Island location, the incredible staff, the wonderful patio room overlooking the garden & birds, the nightly live bands! This is a wonderful hotel & we will come back when we can!

Beautiful Parrots and Koi Fish were our first stop. The grounds are tropical and peaceful. The hot tub is huge and they supplied the pool towels. Staff was excellent from check in to just questions and requests.
