the OB home is one bedroom, living room with TV, fully equipped kitchen, oven and microwave hair dryer, iron, washer/dryer and free Wi-Fi throughout the property, with a nice small patio. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place.

No Smoking is allowed inside any of our properties. You are welcome to smoke in outside areas of the home.

The moment we entered, we were struck by how immaculately clean the cottage is. The next thing we noticed is how tastefully furnished and decorated it is. The kitchen is really well equipped. Understand that this is a beach cottage, not a luxury villa. It's a great value in this particular location (Ocean Beach in San Diego). It's less than a block from the OB shopping district; lots of restaurants, bars and shops of all kinds. The host, Mark, was great. He followed up to be sure we had everything we needed. The one downside to our stay was screen doors. The one on the front door didn't fit well and left large gaps for the neighborhood insects. The screen on the sliding glass door isn't - just isn't there. On a scale of 0 to 10, we rate this a 9, solely because of the screen doors. Otherwise, it's a 10. We plan to stay there again on our next visit.

No air conditioning

We booked this rental for our last week in California. I thought the place was nice on the website but did not notice there was no air conditioning. Also it is quite noisy with the kids skateboarding right outside the front door which made it difficult to hear the TV. There are no screens on the windows so you couldn't open windows for air flow. There is also a group home across the allyway and the occupants are also noisy. The location was great since it was only two blocks from the main drag and close to the beach. Great Location

We love the place that we stayed in. Fabulous location, super clean place. Easy to enter and exit. Beach is a short 9 minute walk as well as Target and Newport Ave where all of the shops and bars and eateries are located. Nice fenced in patio with barbecue and table.
