All will love spending long days on the beach, then just a quick hop over the boardwalk to catch sunset hours in the comfort of your own home, either cozied up on the couch or the outdoor sofa around the fire pit - catch views from all angles. This home is perfect for experiencing true luxury living on the coast!

This home is part of a duplex property and occupies the second and third floors. Strict noise enforcement is in effect. This is NOT a rental for noisy groups.
San Diego Airport flight path runs over South Mission Bay. Airplane noise may be heard; however, departing flights are not permitted between 11:30pm-6:30am.
We are pet friendly! We welcome 1 dog to accompany your stay (non-shedding, less than 25lbs).
A $200 non-refundable pet fee will be added on to your reservation.
The ground floor patio belongs to the downstairs unit and is not apart of our home.
There are stairs to entry. Guests need to be comfortable with stairs.
This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices.
We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Neighborhood Notes:
Mission Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.

This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.

Please turn off all lights, fans, and HVAC; lock all doors and windows; start the dishwasher with any dirty dishes; leave used towels on the bathroom floor and beds unmade; and remove all trash and recycling. Don't forget to report any damages, issues, or upgrade suggestions—we truly value your feedback! Check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless a late check-out was pre-approved. The location was perfect, the views stunning, and the outdoor gas fire pit allowed for evening and nighttime gatherings on the balcony. The entire western wall opens to the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, serving dishes, wine glasses, everything you need to entertain. Hated to leave when it was over. The furnishings are tasteful and in good condition. Everything was thought of, including beach chairs and sand toys for the kids. Will definitely return.

In the flight path of the airport and that was not in any description, it was very loud. None of us slept very well flights all night long. Garage dimensions were not accurate, we measured our cars to make sure the ones we took would fit and it was to narrow to fit.

View was true to the photos. Great beach. Similar to other reviews, must be able to climb stairs (probably have better glutes today!), and the garage is very narrow (had to fold the mirrors to get in). Parking off site was easier after the holiday weekend.

Fun family vacation

The best view!! So beautiful watching sunset and beach activities. HOWEVER, Bathrooms are run down and need updating. We were unable to use the downstairs shower due to the old faucet/shower head. Mildew and chipping paint present in the upstairs bathroom. The Upstairs bathroom needs a screen on the only window in the shower /tub area to prevent loss of bathroom shower items. The unit has an elevator that is NOT for use by the renters. So many stairs!!! We had to carry our 30lb pet up and down stairs (several times day and night) due to slippery tile and my baby pet being a senior (12 years old). **The view is exceptional (a million dollar view!)** The gas fire pit was awesome to sip coffee and drinks enjoying the beautiful view. The nice patio furniture is very comfortable. Kitchen and family room are also wonderful!! We enjoyed our family vacation and would return if the bathrooms are updated OR price reduced due to condition of the two bathroom.

Great location!

The views from this house and the proximity to the beach were amazing! It was so nice to be able to walk right across the bike path to the sand. There were a few issues with the cleanliness of the house upon arrival, which was a bit disappointing, especially considering previous guests had rated the cleanliness so high. Communication was top tier throughout the process, which was much appreciated. To be fair, I did not report the cleaning issues, because I didn’t want to deal with having someone come in to clean while we were there. Overall, it was a good stay.

Spring Break with Granddaughter

This was a pretty last minute trip but it couldn't have turned out much better. Found this amazing beach front propert. Close to so many things, food, amusement parks and more. Great space for everyone and there's want anything we needed that they didnt have. Wonderful communication with the host. We will be visiting again in the future.

Love, love, love!

We loved this property!! Had everything we needed
beach, most journeys were a 20 minute or less drive. Quiet property and had nice amenities. Good paper towels, TP and facial tissue
it’s the little things ;) Make sure you’re able to do stairs. Garage was a bit of a challenge for our large vehicle
but of maneuvering! Would stay here again.

Great location, very nice property on the beach

Great location on the beach, stayed here for five days with family. Very clean, excellent views, perfect access to the beach. I gave everything five stars and would highly recommend. One small catch, this place has a ridiculously small garage, and it is in a narrow alley. You have to maneuver your car in this very narrow space and get it perfectly lined up with the garage which is pretty difficult to do. We had a midsize/compact SUV, Rav 4 size, and it was super tricky. And if you try to park in the alley, you will get a ticket almost instantaneously, we were inside for about 15 minutes and left the car in the alley and got a ticket, $50. Overall a minor issue though, and you cannot beat this location, would not hesitate to go back.Bring/rent a small car.

Wonderful tome im October at the Beach

Our family of 5 had a great time at this rental. The size was perfect for our 3 kids, my husband and myself. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need amd there were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards etc for our group. The few times I had a question for Drift Rental Agency, they got back right away which I really liked. We will definitely try to stay here again. Amd

Wonderful-Met all of our expectations

The house was everything it was advertized to be. It was clean, roomy, beatiful view of the beach & ocean. I had my significant other & we stayed on the top floor. My two daughters & grand daughters stayed on the bottom floor. It was quiet, beds were comfy, beach towels & chairs were plentiful. The description was perfect. I would rent it again in a heart beat.

Fabulous Ocean front home

The layout was fabulous for our family. The main suite is on the floor with the best views we have seen in San Diego in a long time. The lower level features 2 more bedrooms and a full bathroom. Garage is loaded with beach toys and spacious parking. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful property on Mission Beach

Decided to leave Chicago and spend Thanksgiving week on Mission Beach with our adult children/spouses living in California. 3 story house in which half of the second floor and all of the 3rd floor are included in this unit. 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms that can sleep 6, full bath and washer/dryer. Top floor has primary bedroom / full bathroom with extra large closet. Updated kitchen with stainless/granite. Extra large couch and kitchen table overlooks volleyball nets and large quiet beach area near the southern point of Mission Beach. Sliding doors open completely on to patio with couch, fire table and bar table for 5. We had plenty of sleeping room and Thanksgiving dinner for 6 outlook a problem. Garage parking was an extra bonus. Very clean. Easy check in and out. San Diego weather did not disappoint either.

Second time around

Love this house! Stayed for the second time and loved it just as much as the first time. Great location 1/2 mile walk to Belmont Park and restaurants and shops. Well appointed kitchen to cook in and the grill was put to use several times. Will stay again!
