Introducing Tabi’s Terrific Condo, located on the 10th floor of the oceanfront high rise building Capri by the Sea.

Just steps away from the Mission/Pacific Beach boardwalk and easy walking distance to Crystal pier, and all the shops, restaurants, and bars on both Mission Blvd and Garnet Avenue. Located on the tenth floor, the views from South Mission Beach to the La Jolla peninsula are simply breathtaking. The views have been highlighted in this unit with floor to ceiling windows that encompass every inch of the viewable space you could have from this amazing condo.

This entire condo was completely remodeled in January 2019. The new kitchen comes with new stainless appliances, lovely white cabinets, quartz countertops and is fully equipped for cooking and dining in at the table for 6 right in front of the awesome view! New Pergo-type flooring throughout and new electric forced-air central heating system. Large ceiling fans in each room and great ocean breezes will keep you cool. Black out blinds/verticals in the bedrooms will help you sleep in. In the living room there is a 65 inch TV and there are 55 inch TVs in each bedroom, all with Roku boxes and DVD players. The brand new beds have high quality mattresses, a California king, 2 queens and 1 extra double daybed in our "sunroom,” a part of the living room where you can lay to read a book and enjoy the view.

NEED MORE ROOM? If you would like to travel with extended family or other families, we have three 1-bedrooms and three 2- bedrooms in this building; three in a row on the 9th floor, 909, 910 and 911 plus 1005 and 1010 right above them.

Capri by the Sea offers every amenity you could want and need for your stay in San Diego. A single parking space is included with your reservation. The rooftop offers 360 views of Pacific Beach, with BBQ grills and picnic tables and lounge seating. A heated (80 degrees) pool and hot tub are located on the ground floor behind the Capri building and are accessible with your key fob. A washer and dryer (coin-operated) are located at the South end of the hallway just outside the condo. A trash and recycling chute is located on the North end. Your key fob gives access to that condo's floor, lobby, rooftop, garage and pool area. Check-in instructions sent via email will provide more details about how to obtain your keys/lock code and fobs.

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about our home!

It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions!

Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.

Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. Please contact us with any questions.

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!
Guests have access to rooftop deck with multiple gas BBQs, seating and lounge chairs. There is a communal pool and hot tub located next door that can be accessed by the key fob.

Customer service is a high priority to us. We like to make sure you have what you need before you arrive and get settled into our home. We are available whenever you need us, 7 days a week and after hours!

Policies & What to Expect

Included covered parking spot in underground garage with additional outside parking spots available on a first come first served basis for an additional weekly rate. (Please inquire at the Capri front desk if additional parking is needed)

Please note: The look-out terraces at the Capri are NOT for standing or sitting. DO NOT lean on the railings. Capri by the Sea has asked for our cooperation in their new safety proceedings. The incredible views of the beach, boardwalk and ocean are not affected!

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.
Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season. 
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

☀ Holiday 2025 Policy: 
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 20-January 3). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day. 
*An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!  

☀ Summer 2025 Policy: 
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2025, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy. 

To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest’s face and holding either a Driver’s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.

This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.

đŸŸ Pet Policy: Pets are NOT permitted at this property. Guests who bring a pet that is not a service animal will be fined by the HOA.

Rate Policy: Prices change on a daily basis so the rates you see today may be higher or lower when booking!

We love staying at Tabi's and just listening to the ocean, watching the surfers, the birds and the sunset from the Day Bed. It is a great way to unwind. Easy access to the beach for walking in the surf and shelling. A short walk to shops and restaurants or Ralph's for groceries

Amazing place

Location was perfect and the condo itself was clean and well-appointed. The views of the beach and the sunset are tops. The check-in process is professional and everything worked out well. The only thing somewhat off-putting is the "over-communication"...For most VRBO bookings, I've made the reservation, received the info that I needed, and then communicated with the owner as necessary. In this case, the VRBO reservation was only the beginning...After that, it was multiple mandatory phone calls and forms to fill out. While that was a bit much, once this entry process was complete, everything turned out great and we had an amazing time!

The view was amazing. The unit was a bit hot due to no air conditioning. WHY? Fans were available but at times it was 85 degrees inside. A couple of the blinds did not work. Couch chair very old. Kitchen very well stocked and welcome items were appreciated. Beach chairs a nice addition but beach towels very old. The pool and hot tub NOT on site you walk down an alley to access, we never used. Lots of stuff but views were so beautiful.

We stayed at Tabi’s as a family of 4 with 2 children (2 and 7). It was perfect. The condo was clean. Exactly as pictured. The ability to rent a full crib on site was extremely helpful. Views over the beach were incredible. We loved the availability of boogie boards, beach towels and sand toys. Parking space was also convenient. Location made getting everywhere in the San Diego area easy. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful place in a central location

We loved our stay! As soon as we arrived, it was easy to check in with the lock box and fob and keypad. The view cannot be beat. The place was perfectly spacious for the four of us. The kitchen was well stocked and coffee was available for us. The garage was key and we were happy to have guaranteed parking. The condo itself had plenty of beach toys including chairs and 4 boogie boards. Laundry was on the same floor and used an app so you could easily pay. The condo itself was clean and very comfortable with nice mattresses, plenty of towels and blankets if needed, and toiletries. The location is awesome, right on the beach. The garage had showers to rinse your feet and boards. It is also very central in pacific beach and we could easily walk to get dinners or groceries. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Had some trouble with a leaky sink, the hot tub didn’t work for a few days, guest room was dusty with stuff wiped on the wall, and the sheets smelled musty. Master bedroom was amazing, slept great every night listening to the ocean. Will definitely consider it for next trip.

Great view and great location!

The view was incredible and the location was amazing. Walking the beach and boardwalk was easy and wonderful. The condo was spacious and great for a family of five to stay. Our one complaint was that the showers were not very clean. The shower mats were gross and definitely required flip flops to bath.

Excellent Stay in Pacific Beach!

We had a great time with our spring break trip to San Diego. The property was as advertised, right on the beach, and beautiful views. We had all that we needed in the kitchen in case we wanted to cook. All of the furniture was comfortable, especially the perch by the window where my daughter spent a lot of her time. Sunsets were gorgeous. I'd also like to point out that we felt like we really chose the optimal San Diego location. We were close enough to the highway but far enough way at the same time. We were 15 min drive to most things and a short walk to a myriad of restaurants in Pacific Beach. Highly recommend this property.

The view of the ocean was beautiful and we found the place quiet, clean and super comfortable, especially the beds. We walked on the beach each day and tried several restaurants in the area. We also visited a grocery store and utilized the fully stocked kitchen for many of our meals. The garage parking and heated pool were added benefits. It’s a great property and location and I would highly recommend it.
