Less than a mile away from the Pacific Ocean, this three bedroom home in San Francisco’s Sunset District provides you and your family or friends plenty of space and tranquility after a busy day of exploring.

Wake up to coffee (we provide complimentary coffee pods), pile your family into the car (we have a free parking space for you), and go run around town! Return, cook up a storm... or better yet, order in (GrubHub, Caviar, PostMates, DoorDash, UberEats, you name it, you can get it delivere

This home is located in the Parkside neighborhood of San Francisco’s Sunset District. Being mostly residential, this is one of San Francisco’s more peaceful neighborhoods. A quick ride on the light rail will have you steps away from museums, landmarks and vibrant nightlife. A selection of local cafes, restaurants, taverns and corner stores are just blocks away, but we encourage you to explore other neighborhoods to maximize your San Francisco experience.

Guests have access to the entire house and one parking space in the driveway. Please allow room for our downstairs apartment guests' vehicle.

This home is a quintessential San Francisco experience. After climbing a short staircase, you’ll enter the main floor to find a spacious living room, full dining room, eat in kitchen, and three bedrooms down the hall to the left.

In the living room, you have a very large couch, chair and bean bag to enjoy our projector and Apple TV. Please note, we do not have cable, but joining the Wi-FI will allow you to easily stream anything from an Apple computer or mobile device.

The first bedroom has two twin XL beds and a dresser to store your clothes. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and half the closet is available for your clothing. The master suite contains a queen size sleigh bed, half of the closet for your use, and an attached private bath. All rooms include full length mirrors, and each bathroom has a hair dryer under the sink.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and eating, with a shelving pantry next to the stove to store any food you may acquire on your trip. We also encourage you to enjoy the backyard of the home, finished with slate tiles, a table and numerous chairs.

Situated between three major transit lines, getting around from this home is easy. The Muni L train stops less than two blocks south, and will take you to West Portal, The Castro, and into the heart of downtown San Francisco. The 48 bus stops just one block north, and will take you to the Noe Valley, Mission and Dogpatch neighborhoods. The 29 bus, just three short blocks west, takes you north through Golden Gate Park up to the amazing Sea Cliff neighborhood, which offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and California coast.

Good location but problems

We paid for early check in but when we arrived found the existing tenanta had not exited. Waiting fir money paid to be refunded. Was bitten by an insect in the living room, causing swelling and a trip to urgent care. The place should be exterminated. Parking in the space provided was difficult with a car parked beside it.

Roomy home for family

There were 3 adults and 2 children, and the layout was perfect for space. Walkable to public transit to easily get into the city, and it was also nice to have a parking spot in the driveway for a rental car for trips up north. It is a mostly residential area, few stores etc. but a great place to unwind after exploring the city. Would definitely rent again!

The house is clean and easy to use. It has entertaining retro furnishings, generous coffee and tea, and nice shampoos in the bathrooms. Nice towels, too. We came to SF during a cold snap and the house was a little cold, especially at night. But most days, we walked the mile distance to the beach - a wonderful bonus! Thank you!

Spacious and located in quiet neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay. The one disappointment was that the washer and dryer were locked for our use. It was disappointing because the VRBO listing names the washer as an amenity. Family of 5 traveling, so we packed light thinking we could do laundry halfway through our trip. I’d suggest removing washer as an amenity if it’s really not available.

Great time in the Suset area of SF

We had a very nice stay. The house was all that we needed. Having a parking area was nice. The location is a short drive to downtown and quiet at night. Just what we needed for a relaxing visit to San Francisco. Close to Golden Gate park and the Ocean. Plenty of hot water for our group and good water pressure.
