They did not accept our debit card for payment and we could'nt stay at The Dylan, we were still charged for the room somehow. Terrible. Travelocity doesnt mention a need for a credit card for the extra charge The Dylan requires. The person at the counter at The Dylan was not helpful in accommodating our 3am check in and we slept in the car.

What a cool little hotel! We used to live in the Bay Area and now come there once or twice a year for a visit. Most of our time is spent on the Peninsula, so we've stayed at hotels from Belmont up to Burlingame. The Dylan might not be the most luxurious of the hotels we've stayed at but it was cute, quiet, comfortable and clean. No extra fee for parking. The location can't be beat. It's just 5 minutes easy walk to the Caltrain/BART station. There are a ton of restaurants within easy walking distance. We'll certainly stay there again the next time we visit.

Overall it was a great experience. My only complaint is that it is an animal friendly hotel with NO area for dogs to do their business. I’m a firm believer that if you go pet friendly you should have a recess area for animals to safely do their thing. The hotel was clean and the people working there were amazing. I would definitely recommend staying there but if you bring your pup, bring pee pads and poop bags as they don’t have a place for them to poop safely and it’s mostly a concrete area.
