Great service, close to airport with friendly staff and a shuttle to and from 24/7. Not many restaurants around. The room was very humid and linen was damp. AC was working but it was not enough. Super clean room though!

Fantastic place to stay for vacation!

It was amazing thr rooms and beds so comfortable. The staff especially in the complimentary breakfast the food and fruit were the best, staff and cleaning staff so kind and helpful , these employees, Minor, Esteban y Raul in the breakfast went above and beyond to serve and please the guests! I will definitely pass on to friends and family and for sure return on another trip to Costa Rica!

I had a convenient and confortable stay. It is my hotel of choice when I spent a quick time in San Jose. Shuttle and breakfast are a great option and location near the airport a must.

Poor service and hotel

After checking in and going to our room we realized we had been sent to an unmade room. We went back to the lobby and asked for another room- we were given a room with 2 small beds when I had booked and paid for a king room. We are both tall so this was a recipe for a bad nights sleep. I asked if there was any other room available but was told not. I also asked if a room in a quieter location was available but again was told no. We were woken up early by all the guests and noisy children going to get breakfast. The room (113) was on a ridiculously noisy corridor. I expressed my concern about this ahead of time to the lady at check in but she couldn’t care less. Really poorly thought out for an airport hotel. The last thing you want arriving at 1:30am after a day of travel is a poor nights sleep in a small bed.

Great option close to the airport

We flew in late and just need a place to stay for 1 night before we headed to La Fortuna. It was very close to the airport and had a few restaurant options to walk to which was great!

My review is for Expedia. I needed to cancel my reservation due to flight cancellations because of volcanic activity near San Jose. The Holiday Inn Express couldn’t cancel because I made it through Expedia and Expedia had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE agent who would take my call! I’ve stayed at this hotel before and love the customer service and friendliness of the staff … and the breakfast is amazing. I’m sorry I missed another stay. And any inconvenience to the staff due to Expedia’s poor customer service.
