Reservation Issue: Significant failure of the host to meet basic hospitality standards and safety requirements.Requested Resolution: of at least a partial refundDocumentation: I have photographic evidence for the items noted below.Communication & Check-in FailuresCheck-in Delay: Despite prior agreement for a late arrival (1:00 AM–2:00 AM), we were stranded for 30 minutes. The host and front desk provided conflicting information, leaving us unable to access the room after 13 hours of travel.Poor Host Communication: Attempts to resolve ongoing issues were met with delays (multiple days) and lack of follow-through. A request to cancel the reservation was denied by the host, forcing us to stay in substandard conditions.Cleanliness & Maintenance IssuesSanitation:Found sand in the bed sheets.Dirty/used towels left in the dryer.Broken glass and an old spill under the table.Gross debris (hair tie with hair) found under furniture.Trash left in the unit by the previous guest.Pots and pans were dirty and required cleaning before use.Room Condition:No hand soap provided.Inadequate bedding (only two pillows, one sheet, and a small throw blanket) while the room was kept at freezing temperatures.Cold water in the shower; the host delayed addressing this for three days.Safety & HazardsElectrical Hazards: An exposed lightbulbAfter 2 weeks I received 200 back out of the approximately 1200 we paid for the 8th-14th.
