Very outdated. Many Plugs and lights didn’t work. Trickle of hot water from bathroom sink. Had to go ask for hand towels and wash clothes. Had to ask for a blanket on the bed otherwise it was just a sheet. But very friendly and courteous staff.

The staff was friendly but the hotel is more like a motel. Right next to the freeway so I heard the noise all night. Very basic. Ok for the 1 night I stayed. Wouldn't recommend it since you have to walk up and down 2 long flights of stairs to get over the freeway to go to beach or dining. My door was difficult to lock and it was an outside room so didn't feel very safe. The breakfast was ok. At least there was coffee and orange juice.

BEWARE!! Major renovations needed. Broken bathroom floor tiles that lifts - must wear shoes or you’ll get injured. Towel holders are worn and rusted. Broken door to balcony that’s connects to next business rooftop very unsafe. Had to secure with hangers/chair. Chair totally worn out. Second floor wicker chairs in foyer no cushions, but there once I complained it will be posted on Expedia w/pictures. Front desk only shrugged, this is more like an hourly hotel rather than B&B. FALSE ADVERTISING!

It was good for the price. It is near a high way but over the pedestrian overpass it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. There are also a lot of places to eat nearby

Room on the second with two beds needed some work. Water pressure in the shower and in the sink were woefully low. One couldn't even use the shower because of that. Needed extra blankets as the beds just had 2 sheets. A couple of lamps needed new bulbs or total replacement. After all that said, the staff , especially Christian, who checked us in, were TERRIFIC ! Everything was attended to right away except the water pressure issue because we didn't notice it until quite late. The morning staff were equally proficient. We arrived for the Free breakfast much after the closing time due to our clock being wrong. They still brought us bagels and orange juice, coffee and fruit. Talking to other hotel patrons, we learned that they none of them had water issues. There were several places nearby giving us lots of choices to eat. We would still go back to this hotel again (but only after checking the shower.)

It was good, , I understand they are doing some remodelations, hope some of them, better way to avoid the noice from outside( traffic is very close, difficult to sleep) and rhe area for breakfast, more comfortable for eat. Staff was very courteous. This place is very old and has a lot of noise from the road. We are used to staying at a nicer hotel. I would not recommend staying there because of the condition of the place. I will tell you the staff was exceptionally nice and friendly.
