Love the professionalism of all of the staff. The owner and the staff made us feel welcomed. The quality of the property is well kept and relaxing. This was our first stay at the property but it will not be the last. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway weekend!

My experience here was above and beyond. More than all else, the staff here deserves an award. Everyone was friendly--not in a sugary, obsequious way that makes me uncomfortable--but in the easy, breezy way of Californians that helps me feel seen as a human and not just a customer. I had a lovely conversation with Rich, the manager, and was struck by the everyday kindness of even exchanging pleasantries. It all brought a homey touch to the resort. I loved my room and roaming the beautiful property--particularly, all the intentionally designed quiet places to think. Not to mention, feeding the emus and goats. For me, this impromptu solo trip was very soul healing and I believe that this was in big part because of this place. So, thank you, Allegretto.

First impressions count!

The check-in hostess was not on-point. Not a hello, nor a smile… when checking about our room, I said “pick me out a nice one- one that you would like yourself”… she said “I wouldn’t stay here”. Not a good first impression… we ended up with a room that had a creaky floor and a noisy bathroom door. 😩 Also, security should be checking the lighted back area adjacent to the pool, below the vineyards- it was noisy until nearly midnight with several young teens.

We loved walking the property around the visually stunning property. My only complaint was the multiple spider webs on the wooden swing in the zen garden and the multiple spider webs on and around our room’s outdoor table and seating.

The hotel’s overall aesthetic is beautiful and inviting, but there are some areas for improvement. When we arrived, there was no bellman available, so we handled our own luggage cart. Our room, while clean, felt a bit dated and had a noticeable musty smell upon entry. We also requested a 30-minute late checkout, but unfortunately, it couldn’t be accommodated. With some updates to the rooms and a bit more service support, this property could truly match its stunning appearance.
