The rooms were in great condition.Definitely restful night. And it had a decent rate.The only thing I didn't like about it the office manager was locked in his office and slid the key out through a little opening which makes me think that it's a high crime area but the night we were there , it was extremely peaceful and the rooms were in great shape

YUCK and MISLEADING!!!!!!!

THIS HOTEL IS NOT DOWNTOWN despite the description. It’s near an off ramp of the 101 and basically backs up to a Rite Aid. It’s basically an old motor lodge that someone put a coat of paint on. Guest room doors open to the parking lot which is gross. The bed was sloppily made, the furniture was peeling, and there was an odor in the room. If you’re looking for a place to get the Paso experience please stay away from this one. Pay $80 more and stay somewhere decent.

Customer service is really bad. I needed a key to get back into my room and the guy from the office was really mad. No night service at all. Really bad experience. I wouldn’t recomend this hotel at all.

Fraud Alert

Do not stay here. I am still trying to cancel my reservation for this hotel that I did not check into. An employee called me a few hours before check-in and told me I would need to bring $200 in cash as a security deposit. That’s high for a deposit, but more importantly, the security deposit should not be cash. The property listing states that the hotel does not accept cash. I was not asked for cash until it was too late to cancel and find a new hotel. After that, I was suspicious and did not want to leave my credit card with this hotel, so I called Hotels.com and asked to change hotels. Even though I had paid them in full upon booking, Hotels.com still has not given me a refund. I got the runaround from several reps who promised me that it would be taken care of as soon as the hotel manager responded to their calls. The manager was not picking up the phone. In the meantime, I had to book a second room so my friends and I would have a place to stay, as we were already on the road. It’s a 6-hour drive for us. I started this on Friday and it is now Sunday, and it’s still not resolved. This is ruining my vacation and my credit.

Hotel is in a central location and only 6-minute drive from downtown Paso Robles. It was very clean, did have a musty smell in the room maybe carpets need to be cleaned. There is no staff onsite after 10pm which is kind of odd. Price is reasonable and it was quite in the area.

Short but sweet

We checked in at 5pm and left at 9am but no problems whatsoever. Easy check in. Large, clean, quiet room with fridge. Very friendly staff.

Only stayed one night, easy parking, safe. The room was adequate but one of the closets, the door handle was damaged and there was a scrape on the wall that was probably made from the door hinges. Other than that, a good stay and would stay again.
