Welcome to the enchanting Half Acre Wood. Anchored by the stunning 300-year-old Grandfather Oak tree, you’ll find relaxing vignettes all around the property. Let us know if you’d like to plan a picnic under the chandelier, play corn hole or other yard games, give the slack-line a try or just feel free to nap in the hammock. Inside, your rooms are recently renovated, luxuriously decorated and privately separated from the rest of the home. Both bedrooms feature queen-size beds, the sitting area has a wet bar with frig and smart TV, and the extra-large tub in the bathroom invites you to soak for a while. We look forward to hosting you soon!
Conveniently located halfway between the world-class wineries of the Paso Robles appellation and the up and coming Edna Valley and Arroyo Grande regions, this is a wine country haven. If breweries are your preference, this is for sure the spot! Beaches are a mere 25-minute drive, and San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, Templeton, and many other charming communities await your arrival.
Stop off for a respite if traveling between LA and SF, or make it a destination visit for several days. Please be aware there are security cameras at the exterior door to this unit and front of the main house.

A Gem in Atascadero
This property is an absolute gem very close to wine country. Highly communicative, owner, beautiful grounds, and very close to a golf course. The beds were Very comfortable. Just amazing property. We will definitely stay there again!

Came to town for my son’s graduation. Place was very nice and very accommodating to a few extra needs. Would definitely stay here again. Beds were comfy. A few kitchen amenities to help with light breakfast snd afternoon snacks.

Wedding Weekend
We needed a place to stay for our son’s nuptials in Creston. As this was our very first experience using VRBO, we weren’t sure what to expect. Well the Half Acre Wood was an outstanding foray into vacation rentals. So comfortable, peaceful, well appointed, and quiet property to recoup between the various activities. I don’t think we’ll go back to using hotels. If you’re in or around Atascadero, check their availability. You will be very pleased.

Beautiful, affordable, and private section of a home
This property is gorgeous. The backyard is sprawling and the house is stunning. There is one door that leads to the rest of the house that is blocked off, making the section that we stayed in private from the rest of the home. With our own private entrance and exit it was a perfect weekend getaway

A very special property
Three adults were very comfortable in the charming, stylish rental. There is a huge backyard with lots of things to keep kids entertained but the squirrels chasing each other and all the birds kept us entertained. The host left an informative binder with recommendations/information and she did not disappoint. My only wish is that the time there hadn't gone by so quickly. Fantastic experience!
