(Note Vrbo maps is wrong -- this home is just a 2-minute drive from the beach) JUST A 5-MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH! Relax in this gorgeous, updated 1935 California beach bungalow. New paint, flooring and beachy decor throughout. A large backyard with tons of seating, as well as a huge outdoor deck, sun-room, and sunny dining room. Quiet neighborhood but a very short walk to excellent restaurants of all types. Two large nearby groceries. You'll have the entire house to yourselves -- 4 bedrooms with closets, 2 full baths, full kitchen, living room, extra rec room, washer/dryer, barbeque grill – even Foosball! Fully stocked with kitchen supplies & linens. Plenty of on-site parking. We even provide free snacks! Ideal for families or friends.

When you rent a vacation home you often only deal with a large property management company. They’re typically available only Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. And even if you reach them during office hours it can take days to solve an issue – usually after you’ve checked out. And you often have to check in, fill out paperwork and get keys at their office, which can be miles away.

Our names are Melany & Jon and we own and manage this home ourselves. We’ve lived here for 30 years – California’s Central Coast is heaven on Earth to us! Your key will be waiting for you at the house in a lock-box. We live 5 minutes from the property and are available to help 24/7. You’ll have our personal cell number -- call or text ANYTIME! We’ll deal with any issue immediately. We are familiar with all the local shopping, activities, and restaurants (honestly we eat out too much). We’d LOVE to recommend places and activities to make your stay absolutely amazing!!

Jon & Melany were great hosts! Location was superb and the classic beach bungalow feel of the rental was on point. The minor items that came up were addressed swiftly and the working with us on a later departure couldn’t have gone smoother or been more accommodated. Overall the location has been saved for future family get togethers for years to come!

Jon & Melany were amazing hosts! Communcation was very easy with text and responded right away. They provided recommendations of where to eat and shop, which were nearby, if you walked or drove. It's great that access to the beach was nearby.

Beachy charm in a great location

Dreamy old school beach cottage! And perfectly decorated to amp up the space’s vintage charm. Cozy yet with a surprising number of bedrooms and private outdoor spaces. A short easy walk to the fabulous beach and trails. Peaceful and quiet but minutes away from the hurly burly of Pismo. Friendly welcoming hosts who communicated via phone and text answering all our questions about where to get groceries etc. We’re so glad that we decided to give our daughter and her little dog a ride to LA from SF because needing a dog friendly place led us here.

It was nice, some of the pullouts werent comfortable to sit on but the beds were all fine. Easy walk to the beach and coffee. Nice and quiet. Easy to drive to the Cal Poly tour.

The second unit from the same owners. Awful like the other one. This one has mold growing on the bed mattress! Filthy! Totally disgusting and misrepresenting the pictures on the website. VRBO you need to supervise your properties. A refund for both properties is definitely in order

old style home charm

Very cute 1930 built home, has all the old-style charm of an older house. Very clean. Very large yard, great for dogs. Close to shopping, restaurants and beach. Hosts are super responsive to any requests, great follow up and communication. Definitely would stay there again.

Cozy place walking distance to the beach

We had a great time here, with 2 teenagers and a dog. We ran to the beach in less than 5 min. Our dog enjoyed the large yard. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. We enjoyed the hot springs at the Sycamore Mineral Springs resort. The house was clean and fully stocked. Jon and Melany were great hosts and very responsive. It was a pleasure to interact with them. We will come back if we are in the area!

Peaceful holiday

We just spent a long weekend at this home. It has everything you need to make it 'home' for a while. The beds are very comfortable and the location is fantastic. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc and just down the street from the vehicle beach entrance. Highly recommend.
