Sunningdale Villa, Golf del Sur, Tenerife, is a recently refurbished two storey, 3 bedroom detached family-friendly villa within the popular Sunningdale Village (Wyndham Resiencies) holiday complex. The property is private to the complex but enjoys a prominent poolside location with its very own private poolside terrace, The upper floor has a master bedroom with its own en-suite w/c, shower room and luxury 'his & hers' vanity units. You can access bedroom balcony to enjoy the sea and golf course views from the bedroom patio doors.
There are an additional two twin bedrooms downstairs at the rear of the property that enjoy views of the adjacent swimming pool - sheer luxury.
Why not have breakfast alfresco in the comfort at your own villas front terrace or sit at the nearby poolside cafe which is practically within touching distance of your rear terrace. The poolside has free good quality sunbeds for the sun-worshipers and for the fairer skinned, natural parasols or occasional tree dappled shaded areas around the pool.
The main pool has been beautifully configured into a shallow end and a larger 2 meter deep end for stronger swimmers. The far side of the pool area has a toddlers pool, play park, swings, climbing frames, table tennis table, 2 x pool tables, air hockey and table football and it's very own crazy golf course. Alternatively enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine in your own pool facing terrace where you can watch the children play in the pool under the watchful eye of the professional pool attendant.

Don't ever miss your favorite programs, we have BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV, & CH4, as well as Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 and other Satelite stations that will make it your home from home.

Kitchen.
Preparing lunch in the villa kitchen is easy. There is a 4 ring hob, fan assisted oven, microwave, kettle and toaster and all the usual home from home cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils you would expect from a holiday villa.
The daily shop.
There is a small convenience store 100metres from your door. For it's size it provides a surprisingly wide range of food and drink as well as other usual grocery shop items. Other shops are located 200 - 300 meters away at the foot of the road.
Weekly shop.
You can economically shop at the Hyper-Dino Supermarket located 1 mile away in San Blas or take a trip up to the larger Spanish Mercadona Supermercado or the Large Hyperdino Superstore in Las Chifiras which is about 2 miles away. A taxi from/to Las Chifiras costs about ÂŁ5. A full sized under counter fridge and freezer should stock all your goodies for the length of your vacation.

Eating out.
Spoiled for choice really! In the direct vicinity to the villa there is a beautiful restaurant that provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and anything in between. There is under-shade seating for lunch and many chairs & tables to enjoy a refreshment in the sunshine. Occasional afternoon entertainment is provided for guests and at night time the more formal restaurant has live musical entertainment which weather dependent could be poolside and can be enjoyed of course from your own balcony terrace if you prefer it cozy.
If you like going out and about then there are a multitude of local restaurants and an Irish bar that provides entertainment, good quality pub grub that is very reasonably priced. If you're a fish freak then look no further than Los Abrigos which hosts some of the finest fish restaurants on the Island within a quaint picturesque harbour-side setting.

Bars.
A local bar servers drinks up until 11pm however there are many bars and restaurants within walking distance if you prefer an evening stroll..


With a dramatic backdrop of hills dominated by Spain’s highest mountain, Mount Teide, your villa in is set on the edge of the green oasis that is the magnificent Golf del Sur resort. Here in the sunny south of the island, the resort enjoys a particularly convenient location - just a short drive from all the attractions offered by the popular tourist centers of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos and is practicaly 10 minutes drive from Tenerife South (Reina Sofia) airport. On the doorstep, golfers can enjoy the many challenges of the 27-hole Golf del Sur.

Tenerife’s water sports facilities are legendary and the dolphin and whale safaris make a memorable day trip. Then there are bird sanctuaries, gardens, horse riding, and island tours, never forgetting the awesome lava fields of Mount Teide National Park. There’s just so much to see on Tenerife, including the fascinating capital and working port of Santa Cruz and the famous old town of Puertode la Cruz, it’s no wonder the island is such a popular year-round choice.

Old Friends Winter Break

Our apartment was great. It was very spacious and well equipped and clean. Prior to arrival the owner was easily contactable via Verbo and answered our questions quickly and helpfully.The complex was excellent. The staff were helpful and polite, especially at Zacary's, the onsite Bistro & Bar.To sum up we had a great holiday at a great apartment at a great complex.

Just returned from an 8 night stay with my sister. Good points: Great Location of the villa, lovely well tended complex, plenty of space and terraces around all 4 sides of the villa, good restaurant on site. Not so good points: No air con in the villa, only ceiling fans which made it unbearably hot and sleeping was difficult as a result. Loads of cockroaches in the villa on arrival at night, so big you could hear them scuttling around. It was 4 days before pest control could come out to fumigate the place. Beds were extremely uncomfortable too. The communication with the owner was prompt and some of the issues were beyond his control but he was helpful. Would return to the complex in a heartbeat but would not stay in this villa again.

Lovely villa on a beautiful complex

Had a fantastic holiday in a really lovely villa on a beautiful, well thought out complex. The villa is spacious and well presented with all the amenities you’d need for a family of six. My favourite area being the terrace overlooking the pool, situated in the best position with a retractable awning. The complex is very clean, great pool with always enough sunbeds. The staff are warm and welcoming with a big shout out for the gardeners, the trees and plants are beautiful. Two good Irish bars nearby (found on Google maps) and the supermarkets next to these, I found the best. Bistro 27 Steakhouse and the Golden Bay Chinese brilliant restaurants. Thanks once again Alex for your help at the end and I would love to come back one day. Best regards, Ian

Ideal Family Holiday Villa

Communication and correspondence with Alex was great and so accommodating when our flights were changed. Villa is ideal for a family of 6 and the complex was brilliant. Little live entertainment at night but a wee irish bar just up the road and a shopping complex with bar 15 min walk away. Food in complex was lovely as was the irish bar. Would defo visit again if we were heading back to tenerife!

A lovely Villa for a relaxing holiday

We stayed in the Villa in July for a week and had a lovely time. The Villa was spacious with plenty of outside space being detached and had a good view over the pool. The accommodation was tidy and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The Villa is located in a quiet area of Golf del Sur which was perfect for our holiday requirement. The complex facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained with day activities/evening entertainment if you wish to participate. The pool is of good size with a separate pool for young children and is surrounded with plenty of sunbeds. They do have an on-site restaurant but found this to be expensive compared to prices in the local restaurants and bars which are plentiful and cover many cuisine types. Communication was very good throughout with Alex and all in all we had a great relaxing week in this Villa and would definitely stay again.

Won't be Back at This Property

We had a good holiday overall because the property itself is in a fantastic complex. But there were many issues with the property itself which I will get to. Having arrived home and thought about going back to the same destination next year, we received an email from the host saying that the cleaner had reported that a door handle and locking mechanism wasn't working and that we were being charged ÂŁ150 for the repair. The thing is that the door wasn't working from before we got there and I noticed this immediately after gaining entry to the property. I explained this to the host via Vrbo and got no reply. He still hasn't replied. This is nothing more than having a guest pay for maintenance of his property which he should be doing himself. Now the property, we had two infestations of ants whilst there. First one was in the living room and the second one was in the upstairs bedroom, we even had ants in our bed on one evening which obviously freaked us out. We had cockroaches in the kitchen almost every night, we had them in the cutlery drawer on more than one occasion and found one crawling out of the toaster too, which we obviously never used. The rooms were scorching hot, especially the downstairs one which the kids were sleeping in. They were waking nightly sweating. There are ceiling fans which we kept going each night, and there are two portable fans one of which is falling apart and therefore not working. Would return to the complex but not this property.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday

We stayed at this villa in May 2023 and were not disappointed. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The accommodation was spacious with plenty of outside spaces to relax in the sun or shade. The villa has one of the best positions on site where you can sit on the rear terrace which overlooks the pool and listen to the evening entertainment. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and will definitely be booking again. Graham and Alison

Fair property

Villa is good in general, an only comment is shower at second floor is really outdated and requires renovation. Neighborhood is very quite (if not to say boring), we have spent most of the evenings at Los Cristianos which is 20 minutes driving, but be prepared to parking space shortage over there.

Very nice house in a very nice location

Beautiful and superb place for a mid winter break. The place could do with a good vacuuming (loads of hairs floating around), and the bed in the master bedroom is one of those linked coil springs: I hated sleeping in it, but i know that is a preference.
