Pretty good basic stay near Cedar point amusement

Hotel was nice & clean. Pool was shallow for kids. No hot tub or deep section. Also no dining options on property & the local fast food was over priced like Cedar Point concessions.

Booked early and got an amazing rate for a getaway with the family to visit the park. Every thing was reasonably good, especially for the price, but our room smelled so bad. We had to go buy a room defuser from Target to make it tolerable. We had joining rooms so we didn't want to move rooms. Nothing in the room dried, swim suits, towels... so maybe that was the reason for the smell in the room. It was a damp room with no windows.

This hotel is amazing! Would recommend to anyone interested in staying in one of the cedar point resorts without trying to break the bank. The pool could’ve been a little colder as it felt like a hot tub and it was 90°+ that day.
