The room smelled musty and felt damp. After a couple hours, clothing and other items we brought with us also felt damp. Room was otherwise clean. We were there during the off-season (as we were told at check-in) so the provided breakfast was very sparse.

Room was not cleaned well... items left in refrigerator, change laying on the bench in room, brown smudge (makeup? or something i dont want to think about) on the bathroom wall by the lightswitch. Smelled musty in the room. Toilet leaked water on the floor and had to be flushed multiple times usually. Kitchen has a stove but no dishes of any sort to cook with so pointless to have the kitchen area. Seeved it's purpose for a bed to sleep in, but not worth the amount we paid to stay... definitely could use some improvements.

The manager was excellent at check in. Answered my questions and provided solid answers. Just remember, this is not a 5 star hotel. It provided a nice room, a good bed and AC for what we thought was a very good price. Too often, we read reviews that the guest seem to think they are staying at the Ritz, which is not fair as they are not paying anywhere near ritz prices.

Okay hotel stay

The hotel room was fine. Beds were comfy. Continental breakfast was just okay. No tissues in the room. Could have used a better cleaning carpeting and walls. Was sufficient for a two-night stay.

The staff who checked us in was very kind, despite us coming in after official hours, at midnight. The property was newly painted on the exterior. The interior was very clean, but dated, although adequately furnished with microwave and a smaller smart TV. The pillows were high quality and the sheets pressed and had a nice clean scent. The beds were full rather than queen size, but again adequate. The bathroom tilework had some minor cracking and the vanity was dated, however all clean. The breakfast was boiled eggs, cereal, milk, toast, jelly, doughnuts, packaged fruit cup, fresh bananas, orange drink, coffee. The proximity to the Jet Express dock was great. For the price and cleanliness, I would come again and recommend. It is certainly adequate, although by no means modern or luxurious.
