Hellgate Unit H is The Supreme Mountain Lodge. This 3 bedroom condo within 2 miles of two world-famous ski resorts offers 1,600 square feet of living space and complimentary ski shuttle service to either Alta or Snowbird. Perfect for a group of up to eight people, you’ll love the community hot tub, coin-operated laundry facilities, and spectacular views from a private deck!

SHUTTLE ACCESS TO ALTA AND SNOWBIRD
The shuttle stop is located just outside the entrance to the Hellgate Buildings. The complimentary shuttle to both Alta and Snowbird runs daily from the last week of December to the first week of April.

INTERLODGE
Interlodge is a restriction on outdoor travel and activity ordered by the Alta Town Marshal. The Marshal's office, and/or Snowbird Safety, may require, at any time, that guests stay indoors until avalanche control and road danger is mitigated. Sometimes it involves the whole Alta/Snowbird area and sometimes just certain sections in the canyon. The Alta Town Marshal and Snowbird Safety work hard to keep everyone in the area safe with little disruption to outdoor recreation. These events are beyond our control in our winter playground. Usually, avalanche work commences in the early morning hours and is completed before the resorts open - but there are occasions when interlodge can be put into effect during the day and guests can be housebound for longer periods of time.

Great stay. Ryan and crew were always around a very helpful. We stayed and skied without a car which is doable once you get the hang of the local shuttle bus options.

Great place for hitting both Alta and Snowbird!

Great apartment, well equipped (kitchen, bathroom soaps etc, games) and very friendly and helpful staff. Shuttle service works well, even with partial road closures. If you come with 2 cars there is overnight public parking across the road for your second car (first come first serve, so not guaranteed). Had a blast!

Great getaway

We had a great time at Hellgate with a short shuttle ride to snowbird. Road closures can make things challenging so make sure to plan accordingly getting to and from the unit. Unit was clean and fully stocked, staff was always friendly and helpful.

The stay was fine. I think there should be more clarity about the fact that one must haul luggage, etc. up and down many staircases with no elevator or ability to drive near the unit.

Staying in the mountains

Excellent communication from the host, even from the beginning when I entered something incorrectly in the booking form, they called to sort it out quickly. Staff was very friendly and onsite parking was easy enough. The condo was spacious and comfortable with ample cooking supplies. The decor is a bit 70s/80s, but kind of fun at the same time. Only one small glitch is that it took awhile to figure out how to navigate the 4 remotes for the tv... ;-)

Great place, don't get interlodged

Great place to stay, close to the mountain but still need to take a shuttle. Our only gripe was that we were interlodged (can't be outside and pass is closed down) right after check out time, leaving us essentially stranded. There should be some policy for this contingency that allows people to stay where they are if interlodging occurs around checkout time.
