We stayed here for 7 days as a family of six and would rate our experience 3.5–4 out of 5. The home was clean, cozy, well-equipped, and in a great location. If the two main-floor bedrooms had A/C, I would have given this property 5 stars.There are four bedrooms—two upstairs and two on the main floor. The upstairs rooms had excellent A/C, but the downstairs rooms did not. The living room, dining area, and kitchen had A/C, but the unit was small for the space and had to run nearly 24/7 to keep it comfortable.The lack of A/C downstairs was the biggest issue. To help two family members sleep comfortably, one person had to sleep on the couch and another on an air mattress on the living room floor, where the A/C was available. This significantly affected our overall experience and rating.Otherwise, the amenities were great. The washer and dryer were excellent for a family of six, the two bathrooms were convenient, hot water was reliable, and the internet was great. Every bedroom had a TV, and we brought our own Fire Stick.The garage was too small for our midsize six-passenger SUV, so parking may be an issue depending on your vehicle.The location was excellent—close to downtown Santa Ana with several local mom-and-pop businesses nearby.Recommendation to the host: Adding A/C to the two main-floor bedrooms would make a major difference. Had they been air-conditioned, this would have been a 5-star stay for us.
