Alondra was super helpful and had great energy checking us in! For this area, this is a great affordable option. It’s not the quietest property because it is so close to the freeway so you really can’t use the patio to enjoy the atmosphere. The facility was clean, but the pipes need some work. Our tub wasn’t draining and neither did our friend’s tub who stayed on the third floor. We were on the second. Not the best feeling to shower standing in dirty water. Other than that the staff was lovely and it was comfortable enough for a quick weekend getaway.

Nice hotel but the refrigerator and coffee maker did not work. When I told the front desk, she said she would tell maintenance but she did not offer an apology. Poor service.

4th visit was a charm. If you spend a little more than many of the other properties in Carpenteria. You will not be disappointed. The rooms nice, bed comfortable, clean and nicely quiet though close to the freeway. Staff efficient and kind!

Great stay, but needs some work to make it better.

This was my first time staying at this location. The staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying here again. However, what I would like to see taken care of is that all the air vents be cleaned, such as the bathroom vents and the air vents in the laundry rooms and hallways and roof/ceilings. Another thing is the sunrise grill, says they close at 9:30pm but when we went there to eat at 8:30pm we were told by which I believe to be the manager that they close at 9pm and could service, only drinks and appetizers but would have to hurry and be done by 9:00pm. The free nt desk and the paper left in our room for the time closing both said 9:30pm. So we had to leave the hotel and find a place to be able to sit down and eat. I hope these matters could and will be addressed before my next visit.

COFFEE!!

Check in was amazing. Your representative on the evening I checked in was helpful and cheerful. The room was fine. Clean and comfortable. The problem was in the morning. I did not care for the in room coffee. I went to the lobby and the pot was empty. Your representative said it could not be refilled until the kitchen was opened at 7 am. At 7:30 there was still no coffee.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful when we asked to change rooms. The facility is generally what is expected of a Best Western Plus which is clean, nicely decorated and spacious for the price. Pool area is minimal. A pleasant feature is a bar and small restaurant on the 3rd floor open after 5:30.
