Beautifully renovated in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. Easy walk to the beach, in the middle of all the downtown shopping and dining. Room was spacious. Very pet friendly. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Easy in and out valet service.

Old-school elevator takes a long time to arrive; not ideal if in a hurry, which means carrying luggage up or down flights of stairs. Check-out process was long and tedious because of a discrepancy in the price showing up in the hotel's system; the manager worked to honor the price shown on the invoice I received at the time of booking which was lower than what I was being charged at the time of check-out.
