Hotel was pretty. But upgraded ocean view room 1112 was terrible. Paper thin walls with constant noise on 4 sides. Dog on one side. Pool/hot tub playing on another. Public sidewalk with people chatting while relieving their dogs on another side. Hearing every footstep and conversation of people upstairs. Ground-level bathroom has no curtain, so you're showing and giving a show to the public. Ocean view means nothing when you have to keep the bedroom's shades closed the whole time (unless you want everyone staring at you from the pool and the public sidewalk). The area is beautiful, but the ground floor ocean view rooms are by no means romantic or enchanting.

I reserved a balcony, ocean view room and at check in they said there were some plumbing issues and gave me a no balcony and view of the parking lot room with $100. Not a good experience! Also, Terrible mattress.

We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 PM. The hotel was not busy on a Monday. They said "our" room was not ready and we had to wait untill 4:00. However, for $30 upgrade we could have a room immediately. We're seniors and we were tired so we paid the upgrade charge. We've stayed at this hotel a few times before with no issues.ill think twice before using this Hyatt again.I have never had this issue with Marriott or Hilton.
