Easy access to beach/Zoo and waterfront. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, but needed some TLC i.e., torn and missing curtains, screen on one window was broken, grab bar in shower was loose. Also, didn't realize there's no AC in the rooms. Got hot in the afternoon. Thankfully it was cooler at night and the rooms have a ceiling fan. Had to keep windows open though and heard a lot of noise from the freeway and train.

Very happy to have found Inn At East Beach! Pet friendly, clean and beautifully located. Minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are not fancy but everything we needed. No AC, which was challenging but the hotel provided TWO fans which was perfect. Will definitely be coming back and staying again.

No A/C and worse than that, the only way to get air is to leave the windows open. The windows do not have safety locks that lets you open them part way. Makes it easy for someone to cut the window screens and enter. Speaking of safety, while the doors are solid, the locks are cheap and easy to break. They look like they were installed about the last time the place was remodeled, about 70 years ago

Clean stay

The check-in was smooth. The pool is nice & clean. Our room was spacious with a nice home touch to it. They have pastries & coffee in the morning which is nice. Overall I'd stay here again

Run for romance stay for desperation

The room was disgusting, stains on the bed, chair, and furniture was damaged and old. AC off for the entire hotel. Fan spins and swings as if its going to fall + loud squeaking noise. Yellow stain on toilet lid. The colors of the room is nice. If you are going with your boys and freinds, or desperate, this place is the spot. If you want romance or going with your wife, run away. 300$ spent, left on the spot with wife, no refund due to 48hr notice. Bye bye.

Owner was nice. Good location. No AC. No amenities. No screens on windows. No privacy on ground floor. A gardener working on the backside of our room was looking in the bathroom window. It was like staying in an outdated beach apartment. The whole time we wished we would have booked the Motel 6 next door instead.
