This is a 31-day vacation rental. Perfect for a snowbird. You don’t need to go very far to enjoy the sun and surf. One block from the beach, located off of East Cliff Drive between Capitola and Yacht Harbor. This hideaway is ideal for a couple. This second-story, one-bedroom, one-bath unit is warm, comfortable, and inviting. The gourmet kitchen and great room overlook an outdoor deck. The outside deck allows you to BBQ and check out the waves at the beach, along with a view of the lagoon. This 700 sqft unit is adjacent to the Hawaiian Style Beach House VRBO #123636 or Airbnb, and shares no common walls or access to hot water, and is very private.

To save you time getting to the beach, we provide beach chairs, towels, and a couple of boogie boards for your use during your stay at Hale Nalu.

It is a beautiful beach, ideal for long walks and various beach activities. The beach is not crowded and is reserved for locals in the area. The house itself is perfect for guests who prefer to spend the night at home, complete with a BBQ on the outside deck, a plasma TV, and a gourmet kitchen. Or, if you'd like to go out at night, the house is located 2 miles from Capitola, a beach town filled with numerous restaurants and shops. The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is located 3 miles away and has activities for all generations. The entire Monterrey Bay has a significant number of things to see and do. You could take day trips to see the Monterey Bay Aquarium and to Carmel. The benefits of staying at this guesthouse include its location and the renovations, which provide a very comfortable stay.
What activities are close to the house? Beach Activities: The ocean is just one block from the house and offers a wealth of activities. There is surfing, boogie boarding, skimboarding, swimming, and an excellent beach for long walks. Don’t miss the tide pools in the rocks and great boogie boarding at Sunny Cove, located to the far right side of the beach and around the corner.
Surfing: One of the best surfing beaches in all of California is just a mile south. Pleasure Point begins at 33rd Avenue and extends to 41st Avenue. Another good beginner break is Cowell’s Beach, which is just north of the Santa Cruz wharf, 3 miles away. For big waves, especially in the winter months, there is Steamer Lane, which is a little further north along West Cliff Drive at Lighthouse Point. This is also a great place to watch some of California’s best surfers. Most surf shops offer rentals, and several outfitters that offer lessons are listed below.
