Chama Casita: Downtown Railyard District, short walk to Plaza

This historic one-bedroom vacation rental has been completely renovated from the floorboards to the roof. It is perfectly situated just behind the Railyard Historical District only one block from the famous Guadalupe Church. Agua Fria Chama Casita is within walking distance to the Plaza, and one block from the Railyard where you can find great shopping, activities, and of course amazing food! The Railyard is home to Santa Fe's only Farmers Market!

King bed, comfortable living room with a gas fireplace, large bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast area. Full A/C, WiFi, off-street parking, two flat-screen Smart TVs (Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime), stainless steel appliances, and many other amenities complete this wonderful downtown retreat!

***This is a pet-friendly unit, but we do not allow cats or other animals in any of our properties. Dogs that accompany a reservation must be approved by management before booking. They must be 30lbs or less, housebroken, non-barking, and at least one year old. If your dog meets the requirements above or has been approved by property management, a $60 per pet per week additional fee plus taxes will be added to your reservation.

Charming accommodations in Sante Fe

Close to numerous restaurants, the Railyard, and downtown. The neighborhood was mostly quiet with the exception of some traffic given the property faces a street. The casita was furnished well and was comfortable. I would stay again.

Steep check in, check out time frames

Great location, updated interiors, and clean unit. Though we did not need to check in before 4 pm and we checked out by 9 am, I find it applauding that at the daily price of the unit- they have the check in time at 4 pm and checkout by 10 am. 99% of hotels and vacation rentals are standard 3 pm check in and 11:00 am check out. In total 2 hours have been cut from the your daily paid stay. And they have a clause of $100 per hour additional for stay past the time frames. With the high cleaning fee being charged for the small unit, surprising they cannot seem to give standard industry check in and out time frames.

Not really rail yard. I would have preferred something in the rail yard neighborhood. Quieter than aqua Fria. And floor to ceiling remodel is not an Adobe, my fault.

Perfect location and plenty of amenities

My wife and I spent 4 nights here and absolutely loved this apartment. The location had us within a 15-20 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants we wanted to visit. The place also came with laundry machines, including detergent and dryer sheets, which was an added touch. No complaints or "wish we had's" at all. 100% recommended this for couples, friends, or those traveling with a kid.

Great remodel, great location

We loved our visit to Santa Fe, and staying in this location met our needs perfectly. We only had a few days, and while the building here is quite old, the recent remodel is well done, and all of the fixtures are updated and new. And not just new, but better quality fixtures than your typical contractor grade stuff. The kitchen was well stocked, while also being obvious that it was stocked as a rental and no one has actually lived in this unit after its remodel (for better or worse). Even better, it was well stocked with quality appliances and housewares. While the pictures are accurate, if you look closely, you will tell that a non-standard camera lens was used. But there are enough pictures that you should have a very good idea of what to expect. We did, and were not disappointed. The location is fabulous and just a short walk to both Old Town and the Railyard area of Santa Fe. This was a great home base for our visit, and if (when?) we return, we would not hesitate to consider staying here again. The other neighboring units from the same host look interesting as well.

Lovely place

This VRBO was absolutely gorgeous, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The property manager was a doll but After a couple of days of traveling, it would have been nice to be able to get in before the 3:00 check in. Tired us were also a bit frustrated that we had to keep checking email to get word when we could check in.

The floors looked clean. However, they where very gritty and unpleasant to walk on with no shoes. I was disappointed in the outdoor space. All the gravel , no flowers are landscaping . I also enjoy more character , and color , lets say warmth in the places we stay. So I give it a four over all.

Black Mess Casita

We booked our stay as part of a road trip vacation with our two corgis. The AdobeStar tram were amazing and very easy to communicate with. The property was very nice, clean, convenient and well appointed. All the things you need to be comfortable were there. I highly recommend this property for a stay in Santa Fe. It’s central to the square and a beautiful space. Wish we could have stayed longer.
