We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. With a couple weeks on the road, it was great having a washer/dryer. The property is so well positioned in the downtown, and unbelievably close to the Georgia O'Keefe Museum. We were able to walk to all the sites around the plaza, and enjoyed late evening walks back to our getaway without any issues. Offstreet parking is also a huge plus for this property.
We've stayed here before simply because of the location, which is great. But the property seems neglected and sad now. Empty spaces on the wall where there are hooks, but no art. Tape holding up the (partially working) soap dispenser in the shower. Cobwebs. A patio with zero flowers and a broken umbrella. A tiny fridge, no icemaker and a frozen over freezer, so there's no room to make ice if you wanted to. The microwave and coffemaker are in a hallway outside the bathroom, but with simple planning, could be in the kitchen with everything else. The heavy pocket door to the bathroom was completely off the track but we did manage to fix it, but didnt use it during our visit for fear we'd get stuck. So much wasted potential in this property. Not worth the money, unless location is your only priority. We extended our stay by a day, but certainly not because we were enjoying the property.
Pleasant homey atmosphere in a charming older home with high ceilings and wooden floors. Bed is comfortable, and there seems to be plenty of living space, including a private outdoor patio area with table and chairs. Is only about a block from the Georgia O'Keeffe museum and is only a 10 minute walk to a great grocery store and drug store. Small kitchen was suitable for our purposes. It was a wonderful stay.
We enjoyed the property and handy location. Fortunately the owner was there by luck when we arrived or we wouldnât have figured out where it was. The address given was an office in front of the property which was hedden behind a fence. We did enjoy our stay and loved the location. Side note, a tv that was usable without giving our personal passwords and info would be good if only fo basically local channels.Otherwise A plus stay!
It is a somewhat weird arrangement of rooms with the bare minimum of everything. We only ate breakfast there, so it was doable. The refrigerator is a college dorm one and is definitely not cold enough and should be replaced, preferably with a standard-sized one. There were only 3 hangers in the closet, and I had to call to get more delivered. There were no instructions for the TV, and we were unable to get it to work. But the great thing about the place is the location â an easy walk to everywhere in the center of Santa Fe. If you only eat breakfast there (many great restaurants in Santa Fe for lunch and dinner), the place works well.
Once we found our spot (which took us a minute) we quickly became comfortable. We had privacy as well as convenience. We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. We appreciated the kitchen and the little courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the unit was quiet. This was a great way to experience Santa Fe!
Very convenient and well appointed 1-bedroom casita. Close to the plaza and all shops and restaurants. Check in and owner communication was excellent. The patio is a nice private space for peaceful moments.
The location was perfect, I could walk to the Georgia O'Keeffe museum and the Plaza. But it was also far enough away to be quiet and restful, with a nice little patio area.
This casita was walking distance to great museums, sites and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to navigate.
My only issue with the cleanliness was there were a few dead bugs in the bedroom by the window AC and in the bathroom by the window.
I had some door and toilet issues while there, but the property managers had it fixed immediately. They are very reponsive!
This casita is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple who likes cozy spaces.
