Everything about this place was exactly as I had hoped. The only thing that was not great was that we couldn't figure out how to use the fireplace. The bed was so comfy and the bathtub was perfect. We hope to come back and stay again sometime. Just exactly the vibes I wanted.

The place was even better than the listing. Centrally located made getting around very easy. We did a lot of hiking and coming back to a fireplace and the soaking tub was amazing. Bed and sheets were very comfortable. We will be back.

Very disappointed with the home. We contacted the host within an hour of arriving and did not use any of the facilities. We literally sat at the table to find alternate arrangements for our stay in Santa Fe. We did not capture all of the details in the attached pictures (as we erroneously believed we would work this out with discussion with the property owner and did not expect to have to dispute the charge). Additional issues, include:‱Used soap bar in the shower ‱No new shampoo or conditioner (those that were left were previously used)‱No guest instructions for the property – have stayed in numerous rentals and all have had a welcome book detailing the different amenities and usage ‱Appliances broken (dishwasher had broken control panel that had to be held together to open and close)‱Dirty coffee maker and washer / dryer and refrigerator / freezer‱Old utensils that should be replaced, pots and pans that had crumbs and soiling from previous usage‱Stains on pillows and cushions‱No window covering in the kitchen. Which is western facing. This provided no privacy and allowed the afternoon sun to heat the space to uncomfortable levelsWe had a phone conversation with Sophie (host) regarding the conditions, and she agreed that she should replace many of the items we detailed above to update the property that has been rented for 8 years. In summary, the space was unacceptable and did not meet our minimum expectations. We hoped to work with Sophie

Wonderful Stay!

This VRBO property was very beautiful, clean and comfortable for the week we stayed. Most everything that you would need was provided. The home was very artistically decorated and well done. We loved the location!The property owner was very responsive. She gave a great list of local restaurants before we arrived. She brought over a gas canister for the grill when we realized there wasn't one. She came immediately when I called about the battery dying on the remote door entry and we couldn't get in using the combination.The outdoor space was lovely and included a nesting hummingbird in the Apricot tree. We sat outside daily. The house was a lovely place to hang out, cook and sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the A/c worked well.The only suggestions that would improve the experience:1) The Shower water pressure was poor, the water didn't come out of the main head, well, and the hot and cold were reversed. 2) There was a lack of shelving or hooks in the bathroom to put towels and to hang toiletry bags. We had to move a chair into the bathroom for this purpose.3) The drip coffee maker made enough for 2 cups so we had to make a second pot of coffee each morning to have our two cups.Thanks for a wonderful stay! We'd rent it again.

Mid Century Modern meets Shabby Chic meets Southwest Style. We loved our roomy, sunny rental in Santa Fe. The design, the furnishings, the setting, the privacy, and the garden courtyard (over-flowing with apricots from an ancient tree) could not have been more lovely. Nothing that we wanted to see or do was more than 1.4 miles from our abode. (Except the Opera). Sophie was attentive and available, although our needs/questions were few. We will defiitely be back next year--hopefully for a lengthier stay.

Great stay in Santa Fe

This lovely one bedroom house was perfect for a long weekend in Santa Fe. Quiet neighborhood 15 minute walk to Plaza, 5 minutes to Whole Foods or Farmer’s Market. Host is very accommodating and stays in touch. House had everything we needed and a great patio for happy hour. Will definitely return.

Beautiful Space, Lacking in some basics

On the upside: the space is beautiful as the photos show. Outdoor space, bathtub, all lovely. Bed is a dream. On the downside: broken shade, no kleenex, could barely find one washcloth, empty match book boxes, and two of the remotes didn't work, bath salts low. One key only. Behind the bathtub were two mousetraps, one a snap trap, one a no exit trap — is there glue in there? and a cockroach trap, both were disconcerting. I understand the problem, but I do not want to be sleeping or taking a bath and hearing a mouse dying. Maybe put those out of sight, or only in-between guests. Contacted owner via app. Number listed was incorrect. However, she did respond and came over and tried to fix shade, came back the next day with kleenex, more washcloths, and some batteries for the remote which she just left on the table, did not put IN the remote. She did NOT bring matches or fill up bath salts that were low. She sent info on restaurants, etc. Conclusion is that for the amount I spent a night it wasn't worth it because I didn't fully relax and had to communicate with the owner multiple times. For that amount of money I don't want to have to ask for Kleenex. Too bad because it’s a lovely space.
