Very well done and well maintained motel. Fun bar and restaurant. Great staff. The surrounding area is rough, but the entire motel and parking is gated.I highly recommend the Mystic and we would definately stay here again.

Beautifully renovated Route 66 motel. Kept the mood, with Mexican tile shower, saltillo floor tile, mid-century cowboy print barkcloth shower curtain and shades, cowboy tchotchkes, but with lots of hot water, hand shower, split for quiet temperature control, comfortable bedding and mattress. Original footprint, so the room was small, but efficiently laid out. Immaculately clean. There was live music in the bar, but quiet and peaceful in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast, with do-it-yourself waffles, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, oatmeal, and good coffee. By report, cocktails were delicious and glittery.

Hidden treasure in Santa Fe

Not hidden if you’re in the know! We loved every single aspect of this gem of a Motel. The decor sets the mood from the minute you step on the property, starting in the lobby everywhere you look is a delight. The staff makes you feel like family and you’re sad to leave. The rooms make me want to decorate my home in the same stylish way. The property has so much to offer and I am going to let you discover it yourself. My sister and I will be back and will tell all we know about our fabulous find. Thank you The Mystic for making my first time in Santa Fe memorable…

Had the pleasure of staying at The Mystic this past weekend. We were in the Snake Room/Mystic Suite, and the room was lovely! The decor was very natural and elegantly rustic. The room was very clean, and extremely spacious.

The staff is excellent. Helpful and very friendly. The lobby area and office are newly remodeled and have interesting furnishings. Also the breakfast and service were excellent. On the not so great side, some of the infrastructure is aging. The drains are slow and the staff was unable to correct the problem although they tried.

We come to Mystic often and stay for 3-4 days. The staff are friendly and the grounds are nice. It is gated but rustic. The fire circle is a great bonus. The cafe is a nice option, otherwise there are several New Mexican and fast food spots nearby. It's great place to launch out and explore without being in the more touristy, plaza area. Micheal the new manager is really approachable and helpful. Anya is pleasant and welcoming. Xenia the housekeeper is always checking to see if you have what you need in your room. Earl, the cook, is amazing. If you are going to stay at the Mystic, plan for more than one night, and you won't be disappointed.

Breakfast was the best hotel food I've ever had! Place was clean and rooms were very affordable although a bit small. Staff was friendly but could have been a bit more helpful and professional. She mixed up our room with someone else's so we ended up getting a smaller one that we payed for. She did not even apologize about it or do anything to compensate for it.

Excited for a next stay!

My recent stay at The Mystic in Santa Fe was a fantastic experience. The hotel has an eccentric and charming atmosphere that made it truly memorable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room offered all the basic amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The on-site bar and food service far exceeded my expectations. Service was prompt the moment you sat down, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I had an amazing made-to-order Manhattan.. truly one of the best I've had. Special shoutout to Michael for his outstanding hospitality throughout our visit. Breakfast the next morning was another highlight. The chef went above and beyond, serving fresh, homemade granola and real fresh berries (not frozen!). It was such a thoughtful and delicious touch that made the morning feel extra special. Overall, The Mystic offers a unique, comfortable, and welcoming experience. I can't wait to stay again!

We loved everything about this hotel. The gentleman Michael at the front desk was attentive, honest, answered all of our questions, and asked us how our stay was the next morning at breakfast. OH the breakfast my goodness, I was not expecting what was served. You get oatmeal or yogurt with an assortment of toppings including fruits (blueberry, oranges, raspberries, and strawberries), bacon, potatoes, sourdough toast, waffles, blueberry muffins, plus coffee and quality tea. I wish I knew the name of the server in the breakfast area because he took care of us so well too. The atmosphere of the dining area and the outside seated is beautiful too, it was clearly designed with intention. Another thing, even though the parking lot was small they accommodated our 16-ft trailer which was so kind of them, parking lot is gated by the way. Thank you so much Mystic team.
