The house has 6 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and air conditioning (mini-split).

The bedrooms are organized into cabanas or villas, each with two rooms with completely independent access. This allows each person or couple to enjoy their privacy, while still being able to comfortably share the common areas whenever they wish.

We have 5 bedrooms with king-size beds and 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds.

Puerto Escondido is one of the most attractive cities in Mexico. It`s famous in the surfing community for having the third best wave in the world! In Puerto, you`ll find a multitude of activities to do every day: surfing, yoga, functional training, meditation, holistic therapies, and more.

There`s an extensive community of digital nomads, travelers, and locals, creating an eclectic atmosphere ideal for discovering new cultures and connecting with people.

The neighborhood of La Barra, where Casa Mochila is located, is the new residential area in the area. It`s just 5 minutes from the famous Zicatela Point (by motorcycle or car) and a 15-minute walk along a beautiful tree-lined path.

You`ll have access to two beaches within walking distance: La Barra Beach and Zicatela Beach (where the whole community gathers at sunset).

From Casa Mochila, you`ll have walking access to both Barra Beach and Punta Beach. However, in Puerto Escondido, it`s ideal to rent a scooter or, if you prefer, a car. We can assist you with that if you`d like. You can park on the street outside the house. Everything is very safe in Puerto Escondido. You`ll find various shops and businesses within a 5-minute drive.
