Almost perfect

Cozy Beach Condo!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Heron's Watch! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials. The property manager MJ was super nice and very responsive answering all questions that I had prior to our arrival. The check in/out process was a breeze and the location was great, very close to the beaches, shopping and dining!

Loved our stay!

Condos at Heron Watch is my go to place for 30A trips. It’s the perfect location to access several of the beach towns along 30A. This condo was a very clean, modern, beachy condo. Everything was perfect, we loved it!

3rd floor without an elevator

The condo is on the 3rd floor without an elevator. The lock box is very old and difficult to navigate. The cond is clean and in a nice area. The beach is not a walkable distance but not too far to drive. The Old fish house is a walkable distance and was a great experience. The beds are comfortable, I realized they have a no pet policy but when I needed to make a change and bring my emotional support dog I reached out. I was told they would love to allow me to bring him but it was "against the HOA" but when arrived there was a lot of dogs and doggie designated walk areas. Just be certain you will not need to bring your emotional support dog. The Condo is comfortable and we did have a pleasant time.

Quiet Complex, unit could use updating but reasonable priced.

Given the very reasonable price we paid we would definitely considering staying in this unit again but would not pay full summer rates. Nice pretty quiet complex. The unit is a third floor walkup and away from the pool that seems to be a bit loud at times. The floorplan is very good with the main bedroom in the back and the secondary bedroom in front of the unit. Spacious kitchen. Reasonably appointed although one of the sheet pans was completely rusty and gross and one of the large kitchen knives was crusty as well. The carpet in the unit is pretty worn and either needs deep cleaning or better yet replacement. Most rentals in this area have moved to lvt in the main areas and that would be my suggestion. The furniture is in fine shape but felt mismatched. The unit is not secured with a digital keypad lock,like most rentals, but an old fashioned contractor lockbox and 2 keys because the deadbolt and the knob locks being keyed different. I just don't trust that there aren't other copies of the keys floating around and this made my family feel less than secure. With some changes I think this could be an amazing rental and even as is I feel like we got good value for our money. The complex is situated a ways off the beach and next to Old Florida Fish House. You will most likely need to drive to the beach from here. The restaurant valet takes over the entrance of complex weekend evenings and this makes coming and going chaotic at times.

Great Get Away!

The property manager was excellent. Reaching out via text right away and offering open communication. Location was what we expected. Rented bikes right around the corner and had a golf cart delivered for easy transportation. Clean and equipped unit! Loved being able to grill out.

Our Impressions

We enjoyed our stay at the "Great Cozy Beach Getaway". The accommodation was quiet and comfortable. It had practical furnishings in good condition. The kitchen was well equipped, The location is great if you have a vehicle. It's close to nice swimming beaches and nature walks. It has good grocery shopping nearby. Watercolor and Seaside were fun and interesting places to visit. We spent an enjoyable week during August-Sept 2023 when the rental rates were affordable for us.

Hidden Gem in the Heart of 30A

This unit was exactly as described. Beds were super comfortable and shower was great. There was plenty of space to hang/store clothes. Overall unit was modestly but well furnished. The unit is in an excellent location in the heart of 30A, especially during busy part of summer where you can access roadways from 30A to Rt 98 in either direction and avoid trying to drive through Seaside or Rosemary. Highly recommend renting bikes (which is very convenient at nearby bike rental shop - Yellow Fin Ocean Sports) as beach is a decent distance, especially if you are carrying beach equipment. Close to Deer Lake State Park which we used to access beach on multiple occasions. Only downside is that the beachy lawn chairs that were provided need to be retired/replaced (rather rusted out). Would definitely rent again.

Had a great time. Received our code in time to get in before 4. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. Location was convenient to coffee restaurant, fish market, about 1 mile walk to the beach from the door to the beach. And for the price we couldn’t beat it for sure! I would absolutely recommend it!

Budget friendly

We were grateful to find this property that worked with out last minute budget. First time not staying in a beachfront location along 30a but this was a great spot. The teens were able to walk over to a couple of different ice cream places, donuts, hang out and play near Eastern Lake and Old Florida Fishhouse. The adults were able to make a short walk in the mornings for coffee at Beachy Bean and sitting on the dock overlooking Eastern Lake. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were very prompt in any responses to questions or asking for suggestions.

Hidden gem!

We loved this quiet spot! We booked super last minute, but it ended up being perfect for our family! Convenient to everything we know and love! Property manager was easy to work with and responded quickly! We would definitely stay again! Thank you for great accommodations and a wonderful home away from home! Great location and value!

We had a great stay at the property. The condo and accommodations were comfortable and clean. The location of the condo was well positioned to take advantage of all 30A has to offer. We'd definitely stay here again! We rented a golf cart (there was ample parking at the condo for golf carts which was nice) and it was perfect to check out all of the different beaches. If we hadn't driven or taken the cart - its an ~15min walk to the beach. One of the boardwalks required us to wade through a lake to get to the beach... it was fine, and unrelated to the condo, but unexpected.
