Thank you for looking at our home. Oyster By the Sea is located on 30A Prominence South. This brand new house is located in one of the hottest areas of 30A. Minutes from the sugar white sandy beaches and across from THE HUB on 30A.


"Oyster By the Sea" is the perfect place to spend your next family vacation or Business trip. This house sleeps 9-11 (Additional fees for over 6 guests) and features 4 bedrooms, 3 and half bath. The house offers great accommodations and beautiful furnishings complete with all the convenience of a home. Large open kitchen with brand new GE appliances, all you need for cookware to create your unique dish. Spacious bedrooms. 3 full baths and powder room. This house is over 2300 sf. All bedrooms come with 65” smart TV's and 75” in living room for your comfort and entertainment.



We offer all amenities including golf cart, 4 bicycles for adults and 2 young kids, beach toys, umbrellas, beach chairs and more...
Golf cart is available and will be included with any stay. The saving to rent a golf cart is over $175 daily. We offer with any guest stay at no charge but a waiver must be signed.

NOTE: If by any chance the golf cart is not operable due to any failure by current or prior guests at the time of your reservation, there will be no refund or replacement till that is being repaired and brought back operational.

You will definitely enjoy the close proximity to the beach and 2 pools one of which is 5,000 sq. ft. pool surrounded by large pool deck and a nice shady area to relax and grill with a glass of wine. A gym room is right next to the showers by the pool on the north side pool. You will love it! The beach is only a bike ride away. THE HUB is just a walk away where your family can enjoy live music, an amphitheater TV, outdoor shopping and great food options.

Note: There are new home being built in the back and there may be construction noises during the day.

About prominence
Prominence is 30A's newest town certain to attract families looking to experience the area with easy access to new and long time 30A haunts along the beautiful white beaches of The Panhandle. This well planned and long awaited town features incredible amenities, open green spaces and easy access to over 17 miles of bike paths. The Town of Prominence is located on HWY 30A between Seagrove and Alys Beach. Residents will enjoy easy access to a beautiful town center, resort style pools, fitness Center and private shuttle service to the beaches of 30A.

"The Hub”, the community's town center includes restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater with covered event pavilion, cinema screen for movies and a stage for concerts & events. Watch a game on the big screen or enjoy a family "screen on the green". There is entertainment most nights during season. Several epicurean delights await such as terrific bbq, tacos, spirits, ice cream along with unique one of a kind eateries to explore during your stay.

The location of Prominence is perfectly placed right in the middle of Seaside & Seagrove Beach on the west (1.5 miles) and Alys & Rosemary on the east (3 miles). It is officially now the zip code has changed to Inlet beach/ Water Sound beach Santa Rosa beach zip code is 32461.

Beach Access to the West:

Deer Lake State Park - Deer Lake is the most popular and the closest beach access to Prominence. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (aprox. $3 for parking) Bathrooms are also available at the access. The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed. Beach service is not available at this location either.

Walton Dunes - Walton Dunes is about 2 miles to the west at the end of Beachfront Trail. This is a Walton County beach access with parking and short distance to the beach.

Santa Clara - Santa Clara access is a Walton County beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the tram, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beach Access to the East:

Gulf Lakes - The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about .5 miles to the east of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed. Parking is not available, but makes for a great bike ride to the beach.

Sea Breeze - Sea Breeze is a Walton County beach access that is just past the Gulf Lakes access. Parking and bathrooms are not available at this access, however, there is a shower.

Perfect place for a family getaway

This property is exactly as listed. The layout of the home was perfect for our family. The property provided all of the beach toys you could ever need and that was so convenient! Yes, the beach at deer lake is a 2 minute drive (and a walk down a long boardwalk), but it is 100% WORTH IT! The beach was private and never got crowded. The property location within Prominence made it easy to walk to the Big Chill and to the south pool. We loved our trip and hated to leave!

Family fun in FL!

Our stay was great! The house is exactly as pictured/described and it is beautiful! Communication with the owner was prompt and easy. We loved having a golf cart included with the property; it makes it so convenient for trips to and from the beach and our three year old loved riding around on it! The house is also super close to the pool which was also very convenient. There is a larger pool just across 30a on the other side of the community that we visited as well. We had plenty of space for our family and it really felt like a home away from home during our week there!

Great Kitchen. 3 of us could use it without interfering. Beds Great. Very Clean. Wife liked the appointments (not easy). nice bike ride to Rosemary or Seaside. Nice Pool. Grill worked. Ice machine didn't but was scheduled to be fixed. Golf cart was great. Gas powered so no need to plug in. One of the bikes had a malfunction and another was supplied. Rental contact via email and prompt response. Would rent again.

Beautiful house and Hub is fun, but far from beach

The house was perfect for our family. Lots of amenities and a few blocks from the Hub which has great food and shops. The only negative is the distance to beach access. There is NO access in the neighborhood. The closest is .7 mile which was an easy bike ride, but nowhere to park golf cart or car. Closest with parking is 2.5 miles away (state access is closed until summer). Once there, no public restrooms. If traveling to be close to the beach, this would be disappointing.

Lovely stay. Beautiful place and the hub was fun. The beach is a little trek, but the golf cart provided was perfect. The boardwalk longer than some, but worth it. We were here in the middle of summer and could count the heads on the beach. It was so nice not to be crowded. We drove in further and all we could see by another group of condos was umbrellas and a massive amount of people. This was just what we wanted and the condo was gorgeous. Love the extras like the golf cart, beach toys, and bikes. My kids were asking when we could come back when we left. Wish our stay could have been longer. Also, the owner was very receptive. I unfortunately didn't see the last email before our stay with the newest passwords for wifi and pool and the owner got right back with me with the info. Thanks for the stay and can't wait to come back!

Beautiful, clean, and relaxing! 5 stars!

A beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked house! Exactly as pictured and even better in person! As first time vacationers to the area we loved every minute of our time on 30a and staying at this property! We enjoyed nightly trips to The Hub for food and live music, morning bike rides to the beach via the Deer Lake State Park access (go early and you will have the beach all to yourself) and took a short car ride to explore the areas on either side of us. How convenient to have beach toys, life jackets, a beach wagon and everything you could possibly need in the garage without having to drag it all with you from home! Everyone loved having the golf cart to use as well! We can't say enough about how fantastic this property was and would highly recommended it for a fabulous kid friendly vacation spot!

Beautiful townhouse!

Owners were helpful with directions and answering questions we had prior to our stay. Very comfortable beds, beautifully decorated home, great community pool, abundance of beach toys, umbrellas and chairs and use of your golf cart were just some reasons we will definitely be back! RENTER BEWARE...OWNER LIES...STILL TRYING TO GET DEPOSIT REFUNDED

I would not rent from this owner. On the 2nd day we were at his house, we went on the porch out back. The handle from the door came off ( first time we opened door). The lock still worked. I guess a screw or something fell out but we didn't do anything but open the door. I let the owner know and also told him the deadbolt was very hard to lock...again nothing we did. He never answered me but he did file on the renters insurance. (If lock was really broken don't you think we would have expected it fixed immediately ) A $600 dollar claim for the entire lock. I told the insurance company the truth and they are denying claim so I'm not getting $250 back. VRBO has been horrible in handling this claim. I have rented homes many, many times and have always gotten my deposit back. The owner has lied to me several times. I called him about the claim and he said he didn't file it...well who did. He told me on several times I'm getting my money back. He said VRBO should have refunded and he would check into it. All lies. Last time dealing with VRBO and this owner. I've turned it over to my credit card now. Don't rent from this owner!!!

This house was amazing and beautiful beyond words!!! The house was equipped with just about everything. We enjoyed strolling to the HUB for lunches and dinners. Our children enjoyed the beautiful pool, and had a great time. The bedding was awesome and comfortable. It was a vacation much needed, and that's what we got in this beautiful home. As soon as we got home, I was already recommending this house to everyone I knew. We would definitely look to rent this home again when considering to stay in that area. The property owner was great since the first day we booked,and was attentive to his customers. For that, he was much appreciated. One of the best experience and vacation we have ever had!

My family of 4 had a great time staying at this townhouse. It is brand new with great coastal style furnishings and decor. Location is fantastic. You can walk across 30A to The Hub, or take a short 4 mile ride to the Seaside/Watercolor area. If you have children, this rental is loaded with just about every beach toy you could imagine. We didn't ride the bikes, but definitely a nice plus to have so you don't need to rent them during your stay. The community pool is very resort like, and it has a great area to hangout and grill with friends and family. We would absolutely consider staying here again.

Great place!

My friend and I took our 4 children and we had a blast in this house. It is located near the beautiful pool and directly across from the Hub. The Hub was convenient for meals as well. This house is very new so everything is so clean. It appears that very few people have rented so far so you need basic things like - foil, salt & pepper, dish washing detergent and a sponge. In the garage, there is everything you need for the beach - chairs, tons of toys (no need to pack yours!), 2 umbrellas and 4 bikes (they are adult size). We did not use the shuttle to the beach and drove the car (1 minute from house) to Deer Lake State Park. After you park the car ($3 fee), there is about a 7 minute walk across the boardwalk so be prepared with all your beach toys. It is worth it though because the beach is very private. We had a great time in this house and it was fun to explore a new area on 30A!
