Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Wonderful visit!

We had a great stay for a family trip of 7 ( 1 dog). We love the area and the house was perfect for our trip. Bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed to make several meals there. Highly recommend!

It was very nice, although we missed not having the hot tub working. Also, the heating system is hard as the upstairs doesn’t get the heat. Also, for 8 people the hot water is not efficient enough

Wonderful Stay

We stayed in this adorable home and neighborhood for my 40th birthday trip. Myself, my husband, my sister and our friend all shared the home and really enjoyed it. It has some old home quirks, but overall we just loved our stay and really loved the neighborhood. The hosts were very responsive and we had good communication with them. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a spot!

Cute, comfortable cottage - but some basic maintenance

We really liked this property for our party of 8 - used as a home base for our 5-day stay in wine country and primarily used for sleeping / crashing after winery and restaurant visits all day, every day. We were usually gone from 9 am to 8 pm. The home was hospital-level clean upon entry and yet has a great energy 
 the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The AvantStay staff was also wonderful to communicate with — really quick to respond to any issues via text and willing to send folks over to address things quickly. But the list of touch ups we communicated made it impossible to truly address the issues during our stay. So it was 5-star for our primary reason for staying there - a quiet, comfortable home base with heavenly mattresses and sheets - plus 3.5 bathrooms to keep especially our ladies in the home most comfortable. But the property needs more maintenance oversight - it’s as if the property was rushed too early into the market without getting everything functional prior to rentals. Multiple maintenance issues - a broken shelf in the refrigerator; 3 pocket doors that won't close that take away from privacy; several shower faucets that are tough to control and set desired temperature and water strength - as if the plumbing spindle inside was loose and about to dislodge; entry doors that were confusing and hard to lock at night; a hot tub with no jet action to operate as a normal hot tub; and lack of a properly detailed house manual like other VRBO properties have with appropriate detail to tell new users how to use the house properly - door locking, TV, fireplaces, recycling/garbage, etc. All in, we loved this home and none of these issues detracted from our stay substantially. We left refreshed and sad to leave the home. But unless it gets these maintenance issues addressed, it’s hard to ever call this a true 5-star property. But it’s a solid 4-star and made our stay quite enjoyable. Thanks all.

Needed to find a home close to my fathers care facility. Unique home. French provincial with pillars, inside shutters etc. Pool was a bit chilly but OK Very quiet nice location and pool/hot tub area very quiet, private and relaxing. All bedrooms require some stairs to get to. Another reviewer had mentioned no pulls on Kitchen cabinets. Kind of a pain and wearing out the cabinet door corners from people trying to open them.The lack of AC was a drawback as it was hot when we were there . Still... really enjoyed the place and would stay there again.

This home has a very restful energy. There are beautiful flowers in the garden, including two arches full of roses when we where there. The back yard, hot tub area was secluded. The pool is not heated, but you can heat the hot tub as needed. And the driveway is a little steep, but there are two flat off street spots. I didn't try to use the garage so I don't even know if I could have. Would definitely stay again, because it is near my family in Santa Rosa. Plenty of sights to see in the vicinity, and good food is available near by for take out or for cooking. The kitchen had everything I needed for our meals. They might add more plastic plates and cups for eating near the pool. Also the chairs at the kitchen table need padding on the feet. It was a great experience.

It was wonderful! Easy place to stay for shopping and wine tasting at wineries in Sonoma. A must see is the Charles Schultz museum.

Great Location but needs better maintenance

Leon by AvantStay is in a lovely neighborhood close to shops, etc.; but this house needs better maintenance and repair. No handles on kitchen cabinets & drawers made them difficult to open. Several sinks missing drain plugs. Door to bath won't latch shut. Pocket door won't pull out. Cable to TV was not connected. Lamp shades don't stay in place. Spiders in most bathrooms. Managers were responsive & helpful, but these items need better upkeep and maintenance.
