Wonderful 5 Bed Villa With Private Pool In Cala D'Or Centre 5 Mins Walk to Beach

Villa in Cala D'Or in the South East of Mallorca, Balearic Islands on a Peaceful Location and only 5 Mins Walk To The Beach.

This villa is located in a lovely location in the popular old part of Cala DÂŽor and consists of a main building and annex. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bath/ shower rooms, three of them in the main building and two in the annex. The villa is equipped with air conditioning throughout which is ideal in the warm Summer. The villa has a large pool in well kept secure gardens. Special features are a large roof terrace, and a grand piano in the living room.

You can enjoy meals indoors and al fresco with the outside kitchen/BBQ area and large farmhouse table which is undercover and looks onto the pool and gardens. Next to the pool is a room with WC & shower room.

The villa is less than a 5 minute walk to the Cala D'or Beach, in the old Town of Cala D'or . Cala D'or Town centre is 5 mins walk away with walkways full of restaurants and bars. Not to forget about plenty of shops and other amenities. The beautiful Cala dÂŽOr Marina is also worthwile paying a visit. To have a glamps of the beautiful yachts or having a drink or meal in one of the many restaurants overlooking the Marina.

Casa BĂĄrbara is a wonderful place for families and friends to spend holidays together in lovely surroundings. The main thing for us is that you feel comfortable and happy and that you can enjoy a wonderful holiday at Majorca.

Location of the villa is fantastic! Everything, beach, restaurants and shops are within walking distance.The villa is little bit outdated. The stairs to the master bedroom are very steep and narrow, not for everybody! The kitchen, dining room and outdoor dining area with grill was very functional and nice. Although the knives were in need of sharpening.There was also a gas grill, but gas was not delivered.Bedrooms and bathrooms were ok.It would be convienient, if the car could be parked on the yard instead of crowded street, there was room enough.The pool surroundings were sheltered and nice. The sunbeds needed washing. The pool is large enough for all to enjoy.

A Lovely Villa

We had a great stay at this villa, the villa was clean and had everything you needed.Some areas are a little dated but overall is great.It’s in a great location close to the local bars, restaurants and beach.Open d’or was so helpful with anything we needed and communication with them was brilliant, thank you Nathalie and Alexandra.Would definitely stay here again.

Die in die Jahre gekommene Villa hat dennoch einiges zu bieten.Sehr viele KĂŒhlschrĂ€nke,leider wurde der Deckenventilator im Aussenbereich demontiert.Und die Sauberkeit im grossen KĂŒhlschrank im Waschmaschinenraum lĂ€sst sehr zu wĂŒnschen ĂŒbrig.Die Villa ist top gelegen.Kurze Wege in die Stadt und zum Strand.

A fantastic family holiday

We stayed at Ca Na Bárbara for a week and we cannot fault the stay. The villa is in a fantastic location for everything you could possibly want! The beach, the town, the local supermarket, the harbour
you name it. We found the pool to be a great size and loved the grass area too. The air con worked great, though my mum found there to be issues with her air con in the master bedroom. But that may be due to their error as all others worked well. We couldn’t get the dishwasher to clean a load properly but it was no bother washing by hand. The bbq area was awesome and we loved cooking outdoors. The garage offered a washing machine, extra fridge, tumble dryer and an ironing board. There is nothing we can think of that we needed that the Villa didn’t offer. Open Do’r the a local letting agency were excellent and very responsive to emails. Thank you nathalie! We would come back to this villa in a heartbeat and are already planning to re book. Thank you to everyone involved in letting out this wonderful villa.

Lovely house with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities as well as good space even for larger groups. The location is outstanding with town center, shops, restaurants and a small very nice beach within a 5 minute walking distance.

Villa Barbara review

The villa lived up the location as it so close to all amenities. We were a family of six with a child under three ,and we feel that the house is not that child friendly and more suitable for just adults. Also requires updating in many areas. The house had a musky smell through out and maybe required opening up before we arrived, we may have been the first to stay for a while . A welcome pack would also have been a nice touch to get Al guests after a long day's travel.

Family Holiday

All communication before arrival was excellent and timing. The villa itself it beautiful and plenty of space for the whole family. The outside space is beautifully kept. There is lots of shade to escape the summer heat. We had a few issues with water pressure if more than one shower was being used but we staggered shower times so wasn’t a huge issue. Villa is in a fabulous location, 2 mins walk to the beach and 5 mins walk into town. Would definitely book again.

Unique spacious villa, excellent location, with annex accommodation

Great villa in good condition. Right in the heart of Cala d’or, 2 minutes walk from a beautiful beach. We had a lovely holiday with our 4 kids and 2 grandparents who stayed in the annex. Good facilities for children to relax in the villa and watch tv to get out of the sun. Recommended

Lovely spacious property very conveniently situated for all amenities

First impressions were good but noticed the floor areas both inside and out were not very clean but this was rectified by ourselves. Subsequently the cleaners did a good job when they arrived in the interim. Lounge - Recliner chairs were not very comfortable as they were broken with one being open and we couldn't close it down. Kitchen - was not very well equipped, could have had better cooking utensils e.g., kitchen knives, chopping boards, oven trays/Pyrex dishes and more self sealing containers for food to avoid the ants! The built in BBQ was unusable as the charcoal tray had rotted. Annexe - The noise from the boiler room below the bedroom made it very difficult to sleep. Swimming Pool - cover had disintegrated and pool attendant told us not to use this. We noticed the heater had stopped the second week and because we couldn't use the cover it became quite cold. It is a lovely villa and in a very good location for restaurants, walks and beaches and with a little TLC it would be a great place to revisit. We enjoyed our stay very much but felt our last day was somewhat disturbed and couldn't relax in the garden/pool area as the gardener was around using machinery.
