Nice cabin sitting on the water at the lower lake of Sardis. Features include screened in front & back porch, covered parking, private boat dock, boat ramp only 1 house over. Less than 2 miles to marina and upper lake. Fully stocked kitchen. DirecTv, WiFi, and much more. If you are looking for a nice cabin on the lake at Sardis, this is it. Will sleep 6 people. Located only 20 minutes from Oxford. Owners have no advance knowledge of the water level on the lower lake or if the dock will be accessible.

The home was very spacious with great outdoor spaces as well. Disappointed that the water was down so there wasn’t really “waterfront”
no fault of the owner. The owner was very responsive to inquiries and very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the screened porches and fire pit as well as the large rooms and well thought out amenities.

The cleanliness of the indoor rooms was great. We appreciated the wifi, large tv and kitchen. Having laundry facilities was also a plus, though the washer was dated and only operated on warm water cycle. I was concerned with furniture in double bed room off the kitchen
cabinet holding tv could not be opened safely without danger of tv toppling . Could be a hazard for families with young children. We found the house to meet our needs very nicely overall.

Beautiful home but limited lake access

I will first start out with the positives because overall it was a great visit. The home was very clean and loved the open concept. The one bed we used was comfortable and there were 2 more beds that we did not even use. Being a graduate from Ole Miss, I loved the Ole Miss throughout the home. I also enjoyed the front and back screened in porches. It rained for a little while and we sat out on the porch for a bit. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and then some. We also enjoyed the covered parking area. My biggest disappointment was the description of being waterfront. There was no way to fish off the dock. Even one day we were there they opened the damn and released the water and a little water was under the dock for one day but not near enough to fish and so many limbs and vegetation grown up that fishing was not possible in any way. We did meet the neighbors while we were there and they were very friendly and actually invited us over to fish off their dock which was very nice and large and was perfect for fishing. But I do appreciate the honesty of the owner of this property because they state that you might not be able to fish from their dock. We were able to drive to the spillway and fish some which was really close. When we first came to the site our GPS lead us through an very unsavory area just prior to our destination that almost made me immediately cancel my reservation but the immediately around the home was much better.

Cute but the sagging mattress

Great property. I am assuming that they are in process of updating. Two of the beds were nice; however, the third bed had a sagging hole that could consume the average adult. This made for a very bad experience for one of our fellow travelers.

House was nice and in a good location from the lake. Was a little skeptical of leaving items in the boat at night but all was well. Has enough room to pull in and turn around for larger 21 ft boat boat owners.
